You fell on your knees, shocked by the news.
Your mentor, La Signora, The 8th Harbinger, has died.

You knew she was going to Inazuma to talk to the Raiden Shogun, but you didn't expect for the tables to turn.
The both of you managed to get Morax's Gnosis without any trouble, since the Liyue Qixings were able to handle the test given.

You stayed at the Northland Bank upon Signora's request, accompanying Childe on his duties in Liyue.
Your strength outmatched him, but your age and inexperience was what made Tsaritsa chose him over you.

Childe patted your back, trying to calm you down.
You shook your head, not going to let your emotions took over you.

You read the rest of letter given by the Agent.
Tsaritsa has ordered you to go back to Mondstadt, to deal with some unfinished businesses.

The scent of flowers greeted you as you entered the gates of the city.
You walked all the way to the Goth Hotel, the guards recognized you right away, and let you in.

Mikhail and Lyudmila filled you in with the information needed, the names, debts, and certain punishments.
You sighed when they walked out, not understanding how Signora's able to handle all this.

Exhausted from all the work you have done,you sneaked out of the hotel, making your way to the Angel's Share.

Diluc, as always, was mixing drinks and looking annoyed as Kaeya talked.
You smiled at the sight you used to see before you completed your mission...yes, the mission to steal the Archon's Gnosis.

"Well, well, look who we have here, seems like the (y/n) who disappeared for a few months have returned,"
Kaeya chuckled and patted the seat next to him, signaling you to drink with him.
You greeted Diluc, who nodded at you and served you Dandelion Wine.

You were talking about old times with Kaeya when the tavern door was opened.
A familiar laugh was heard, making you froze in your place.

A green coat flashed before your eyes, as the owner sat next to you and sang a tune,
"Oh, while dragons fly and bird follow, old friends came by and memories flow,"

You turned you head instantly, meeting a certain bard with two braids framing his face.
"Yo, Venti, seems like she misses you more than me," Kaeya joked.

"What can I say? I am indeed lovable,"
Venti laughed while you still froze in place.
"Why don't we all drink to our heart's content tonight? To celebrate the return of an old friend,"

The clock strucked 12 at midnight,
You, Kaeya, and Venti were wasted.
Diluc kicked the three of you out, making Kaeya sigh and walked back to the Knights of Favonius headquarters.

Right after Kaeya left, Venti dragged you to a corner.
Confused, you opened your mouth, but he shushed you before you could make a sound.

He pinned you on the corner, stopping you from running away.
"You must be confused, but I hold no grudge, you have no need to worry,"

"V-venti...why,"
"Well, I survived the Archon War, but if you're asking why I didn't hate you, maybe because my feelings for you never changed,"

You stopped struggling, and saw the sincerity in the boy's eyes.
You never told anyone but the guilt of what you've done that day was burdening you.

He leaned closer to your face, connecting his soft lips with yours once again.
You did not push him, yet you melted into that kiss as your tears ran down.

He pulled away, looking deep into your eyes,
"But, I would choose the peace of Mondstadt over my own feelings and it is clear for the both of us that you are a threat to it,"

You backed away, his turquoise eyes glowed.
"I advise you to leave, if you stay here any longer, I will no longer keep quiet,"
Venti stated, his bow on his hand.

You clenched your fist, hanging your head down in defeat.

Mondstadt would never welcome you, not after what you have done.

You walked out of the gates, giving the City of Wind and Idylls a last goodbye.
