mels pov id been flat out with work recently, i hadn't seen anyone in a few days. my brother, jelani, got given 10 years the other day. i was upset about it tbf. i seemed to distance myself from people and distract myself with work when i was upset about something. i hadn't seen digga since my birthday. i felt bad for blowing him off i just didn't wanna see anyone. i was sat on my sofa editing a video. my hair was in a messy bun, i had a hoodie and shorts on. i looked rough like i hadn't showered in a week. i heard a knock at my door, i assumed it was the food i ordered.
'yo' rhys said walking past me into my apartment. i closed the door behind him. i wasn't expecting him. 'why are you here' i questioned 'not happy to see me?' he asked 'i'm just busy' i sat back on the sofa and grabbed my laptop. rhys came and sat next to me putting his head on my shoulder watching the screen. 'heard about jelani' he said 'mhm' i mumbled 'u good?' he asked 'yeah just shit init' i sighed he took my laptop off me and put it on the table in front of us. 'rhys' i moaned 'nah you need a break man' he said. he put his arm round me pulling me in 'you're pretty without all that shit on your face' 'nah babe i look rough' i laughed covering my face 'shut up man' he kissed his teeth 'let's do face masks' i said getting up and grabbing them 'no' he laughed 'come on' i climbed onto his lap facing him 'not getting out of this am i' he joked 'nope' i smiled putting a gold fask mask on him 'i only do this shit to make you happy' he said 'i am happy' i kissed him 'you look cute'
