he sat up to face me. my eyes filled with tears

'are you playing with me' he asked

'no' i wiped my eyes 'look i can do it alone if-'

his lips pressed against mine interrupting me

'mel' he pulled away 'you're not doing it alone'

he led back down next to me and pulled me into a hug

'don't get upset' he kissed the top of my head

'i'm not ready for a kid' i sobbed

'you won't be alone' he reassured me 'i'll be here the whole way'

'i'm scared' i sighed

'we got time baby' he rubbed my back

'are you happy' i asked

'i'm gassed' his face lit up

'really' i questioned

'i want my own family, i wanna settle down' he replied 'with you'

i looked up at him and smiled

'i love you' i said

'i love you more' he answered

'mel we got this' he rubbed my head 'don't worry'

'i am' i sighed

'why' he asked

'look at your lifestyle rhys you can't bring up a child up involved in this shit' i replied

'do you really think i'd ever put you or our child in danger mel' he questioned

'no but-'

'listen to me baby' he interrupted me 'i will never involve you or our baby in that shit, i promise you'

'can we just keep this between us for now' i asked

'yeah' he kissed my forehead

'dave and jada know but they won't say anything' i replied

'how am i gunna tell cee' i sighed 'and my family'

'we don't have to tell them yet' he said 'we have time'

'could you two talk any louder' i groaned

i put my head on rhys chest as his arm wrapped around me

'sorry' rhys laughed kissing my head

'fred's having a motive tonight if you're up for it' dave asked

'i'm tired man' i moaned

'come on' dave replied

'i can't even drink no more' i sighed 'or smoke'

'that's peak you know' dave laughed 'it'll be fun anyway'

'i'm not staying hours' i said 'i cant be arsed'

'jadas coming too' he replied

'what's going on with you and jada you been spending a lot of time together' i asked

'we're just friends man' he rolled his eyes

'mhm' i laughed 'just don't hurt her'

'we're friends that's it' he kissed his teeth

'yeah alright' i made my way out of bed over to my wardrobe

i connected my phone to my speaker and man in the mirror played by a boogie.

i put on some leather trousers and a black crop
top. i did my makeup lightly today, i couldn't be bothered to make much of an effort.

'you look beautiful' rhys wrapped his arms around my waist as i stood infront of the mirror

'stop' i turned around facing him while still in his grasp

'i love you mel' he said 'i'd never leave you, i want this baby'

'i love you' i looked up and kissed him
