mels pov it was now 2am. rhys messaged me at 11 telling me he'd be back soon but i hadn't heard anything from him since. i heard the front door close and rhys walked into my room. 'yo' he said sitting down next to me on the bed 'hi' i replied bluntly 'u mad?' he asked 'could've told me you'd be longer' i turned to face him 'i got caught up' he put his arm around me 'with what' i sighed 'don't worry about it' he said 'what are you hiding' i pulled away 'nothing man' he kissed his teeth 'so where were you' i rolled my eyes 'i was with sav relax' he pulled me back in by my waist 'you gotta trust me or this shit won't work' 'don't be shady with shit then' i sighed 'look mel i only got eyes for you you know that' he replied 'you got nothing to worry about' 'mhm' i said 'why don't you trust me' he sighed 'you gotta stop putting up all these walls man. i aint gunna treat you bad mel' he reassured me. it wasn't digga who i didn't trust, i didn't trust anyone other than my family. i didn't trust men, especially after my ex but i can't project my insecurities onto rhys, he's not him. our relationship doesn't stand a chance unless i trust him. 'i know' i sighed putting my head on his chest 'you're the only one i want' he kissed my forehead.
i loved this side to digga. he's always been very nonchalant towards everyone but he seemed different.
i climbed onto his lap and cupped his face with my hands before kissing him. his arms wrapped around my waist. i lifted his top over his head. 'forgiven me then?' he smiled into the kiss 'mhmm' i mumbled taking my own top off. his hands moved further up my body. he pulled away from the kiss staring at my body. 'you're so beautiful' he said staring 'shut up' i blushed he flipped me over so he was on top of me. he kissed down my body leaving faint marks. he kisses around my underwear temping me. 'rhys' i groaned he takes off my thong throwing it on the floor. he looks up at me smiling. he moves back up from between my legs and unclips my bra. 'fuck me' i say firmly 'you sure' he asks 'mhm' i say 'i want you'

i wake up the next day with rhys arms wrapped around me. he was already awake scrolling through his phone. neither of us had bothered getting changed from the night before. i looked up at him and smiled 'hi baby' he said with his morning voice 'hey' i smiled 'lemme take you out soon' he replied 'where' i asked 'a date' he said 'a proper one' 'where you gunna take me' i smiled 'wait and see' he said 'tomorrow night' 'i'm excited' i put my head on his chest
his phone rang for abit before he answered it. by the sounds of it, it was sav trying to get him back for business or whatever shit he does. he climbed out of bed after ended the call putting his boxers back on.
'i gotta cut' he said getting dressed 'i get it' i sighed 'i'll pick you up once im done yh' he kissed my forehead. he apologised and then left my apartment.

'hey' i said climbing into the backseat of rhys car. 'you alright' sav asked looking back at me rhys was smoking a joint while driving and sav was sat in the front. sav must've known that me and digga were together now, i knew he would've told him anyway. i didn't know sav too well but from what i knew he seemed nice. i spoke to sav for a bit of the ride before going on my phone. rhys was silent the whole time, something must've happened while they were out.
suddenly the sound of gun shots rang through my ears followed by the sound of glass shattering behind me. i heard rhys shout my name telling me to get down. i looked up to see sav grabbing his gun and loading it before firing it out his window towards the shots. 'melissa keep your fucking head down' rhys shouts while trying to drive.
