CHARLOTTE'S POV

We sat on Scar's sofa in the lounge and we had a glass of wine and the TV was playing some old film neither of us was paying attention to. "So tell me more about you." She asked. "What do you want to know?" I asked her taking a sip, I have never really been good at talking about myself I needed questions or I forget everything about myself.

"Where did you grow up?" "London... I've been in boarding school since I was 10 but before that, I lived with my parents and my older brother," I tell her. "Is that when you met, Flo and Tom." I nodded. "We were the wild ones as the school called us... Free spirits if you will." "You seem rather tamed compared to them." "A lot of media training has gone into this," I say laughing. "I'm excited to see you let go a little then." She smirked, I shook my head. "I'm on my best behaviour," I inform her. "Oh come on... at least give me a taste of the chaos." She nudged me with her foot. "Never touch me with your toes again," I warned her half-joking half being serious. "What you don't like this?" She asked doing it again. "I'm warning you, Johansson," I said putting my wine down ready to grab her in a second if she did it again. She put hers down too and stood up.

I eyed her up what was she going to do? She touched me with her foot before bolting. "That's it." I chased after her and she ran up the stairs so I followed her. She was running through the halls before she tripped over a doll that was on the floor. I bit my lip holding my laughter back. "Don't you dare?" She warned me looking over her shoulder. She wasn't hurt. "I'm not," I say struggling to keep my laughter at bay. "Did you get me a postcard from that trip?" I asked her trying my best to keep my face serious. "Fuck you." She said laughing.

I helped her up but I had to laugh whilst I did it. "Rose and her things, never have children their stuff gets everywhere." She says picking up the doll and the other toys on the floor, she goes into Rose's playroom, I stand by the door as I watch her set up the teddies on the bed. "You have to rotate them or the others get jealous." She tells me. "I get that," I said amused, she was a good mum doing that for her daughter, playing along with her silly rules about her teddies.

"So you don't have a foot fetish then?" She asked as we walked back down. "No," I said seriously. "What's with the hatred?" "Ballet... You'd hate feet too." I warned her. "Are ballerinas feet really that bad?" She asked me. "Oh yeah, it's not just like a thing people say, our feet are gross," I admit scrunching my toes up despite them being covered by socks I was still worried she'd somehow see them. "They can't be that bad." "Trust me I've broken every bone in my feet at least twice, they're ugly." I laughed at her expression. "How are you still walking?" "Oh, you can dance with a broken toe as long as it's not like bad, bad," I tell her. She looked shocked. "I cry when I stub my toe." I chuckle.

We sit back down and she lays her feet on my lap. She had no socks on and I chose to ignore her attempt at annoying me. "Where did you grow up?" I asked her getting back to our conversation. "New York." "I love it there." "It's really busy." She tells me. "I guess it's a change from where I live." "Where is that?" "I live on a farm," I tell her. She looked even more surprised. "A farm?" I nodded. "Yeah... When I'm not working. I live with my grandpa. We've had the farm for generations now." I tell her. "So are you going to take over soon?" "Maybe? My brother was meant to but... Yeah, so I am next in line I guess." "What happened?" "Surfing accident," I tell her fiddling with my rings.

SCARLETT'S POV

Her whole demeanour shifted, she was clearly close with her brother. She wasn't telling me the whole truth though. "What do you think happened?" I changed my question. "He gave up." She looked at me her eyes were glassed over tears building up. "Excuse me." She says standing up. I stood with her and pulled her arm pulling her into a hug. She was tall them me but I rested my head on her shoulder. "I'm sorry." She said pulling away. "It's okay to show emotion Lots," I tell her.
