"Alright, Who wants to go first?"
Everyone glanced at each other in the briefing room, nervous to go first. Then Jayden raised his hand. You looked over and sighed slightly, shaking your head a bit. Jayden ignored you.
"Great! Thank you, Jayden." Terry smiled brightly. "Of course." Jayden smiled back at Terry. "So, what intel do you have?" Terry asked, earning a sigh from Jayden. "Well, I've been going through everything that I've found about them. I know where one of the members were a few days ago. But that's pretty much it." Jayden shrugged.
Terry sighed, "Where were they last?" He asked. "The member was last seen 2 blocks away from the precinct actually." Jayden explained, earning shocked expressions from everyone else. "Alright then. Thank you for that information, Jayden." Terry said, earning a nod from Jayden as he sat in his seat.
"Anything else?" Terry asked the people in the briefing room. "I have some intel" Jake called out, making everyone dart their eyes towards him. "Alright then." Terry said as Jake stood up from his chair.
"I started looking through some old criminal records that have to do with the Ghost Gang and I think that I just found out we already have some of the members." Jake explained. Ian and Arthur shared a look for a few moments, catching the attention of Jayden. Jayden looked at them suspiciously before looking back to Jake.
The TV showed a picture of both Thomas and Walter Howards. The kidnappers of your father. You gasped quietly, quickly reaching for Ian's hand. All the dreaded memories full of anxiety filled your head as you looked at the photos of Thomas and Walter.
"Y/N? You okay?" Jake asked after he noticed you. Everyone looked at you with a worried expression. You gulped, still staring at the two photos. Jake walked over to You and Ian, kneeling in front of you. "Y/N/N, Are you okay?" Your uncle asked you calmly. You continued to stare at the photos, not hearing your uncle's question.
Jake sighed. "I can take her to get some air." Ian suggested. Jake looked back at Ian and nodded, "That would be great. Thanks Ian." Jake smiled at him and stood up. Ian nodded and smiled back at him. Jake went back to the front and continued to present the information.
Ian helped you stand up from your seat and lead you out of the briefing room.

"You okay?" Ian asked as the both of you went to the balcony. You looked to him, "Yeah, I'm fine.." You replied, quickly looking away. Ian placed his hand on your shoulder gently and making you look up at him. "Y/N, you can always tell me what's wrong." He reassured you. You sighed and looked down."Whenever I'd see something that reminded me of...my dad's kidnapping last year, I'd always panic." You explained. Ian stayed silent, looking at you and feeling sorry. "I know, it's really stupid. I mean, it only happened once." You said nervously.
"No no, Y/N. It's not stupid at all. I mean, your father was kidnapped! And- That must've given you so much anxiety." Ian said, making you face him. "So don't think it's stupid because it really isn't." He continued. You were still looking down at the ground. Ian placed his hand on your cheek and made you look at him.
"It's alright, Y/N." He reassured you with a small smile.
You returned the smile. Ian embraced you lovingly, wrapping his arms around your waist and holding you close. You rested your forehead in the crook of his neck, nuzzling into it a bit. You looked up at Ian and noticed he had a concerned expression on his face. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion and worry.
"Babe?..." You said, earning Ian's attention. "Yeah?.." He questioned, looking down at you. "What's wrong?" You asked him. He tilted his head, "What do you mean? I'm fine." He replied. You shook your head. "You had a worried expression on your face a few moments ago." You pointed out. "Y/N, I'm okay, I swear!" He reassured you. You raised an eyebrow at him,
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."

"Ugh..."Jayden looked away from his work and out the window. He then saw you and Ian, hugging each other. Jayden rolled his eyes and looked back at his work. He thought about everything that happened today, from the identification of the Ghost Gang which caused you to panic, to you and Ian having a little cuddle session on the balcony.
The weird thing is that all these thoughts had to do with you.
Jayden was confused about his feelings for you. Some people seemed to notice that there was some sort of chemistry between you and Jayden before. And ever since the kiss that you and Jayden shared on New Year's, it was clear that he liked you. Even if he got another girl to be his girlfriend (Which by the way, he broke up with her), everyone (besides you) still knew that he liked you.
Maybe he was still in love with you?
Hell no!...
But could he possibly be a little bit jealous of Ian?
Maybe. Probably more than a little bit.
Ever since you.. announced that You and Ian were dating, Jayden has started to act a bit different. Whenever he saw you and Ian together, acting cuddly and all, Jayden would tense up a bit. Whenever Ian or Arthur talked to Jayden, he would seem a tiny bit annoyed.
Well, Ian is one of those guys that are said to be "perfect". And Ian really was perfect. He was smart, he was talented, he has a great personality, and the thing that most people love him for... his good looks. Arthur was known for these things too. They were so "perfect" that the younger uniformed officers would swoon over them as Ian and Arthur would walk by. Jayden tried to find something wrong with them, but he couldn't.
That was until the meeting..
During the meeting, Jayden saw Ian and Arthur sharing a look. A worried look. This was when Jake mentioned something about finding the members of the Ghost Gang. It was definitely suspicious. That's when Jayden thought...
What if Ian and Arthur were apart of the Ghost Gang?...
