Ian sat at his desk, running his hands through his hair.
So many thoughts were going through his head. They were stressing him out. Ever since yesterday, Ian has been stressing out. He wanted to keep you safe. He really did. But his own life was at stake as well.
"You okay, love?"
Ian looked up and saw you standing near his desk, holding a brown bag and a coffee cup.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry." Ian reassured you with a small smile. "Oh. Okay. Well, I bought you some food while I was on my break." You handed him his coffee and the brown bag of food. "Thanks. I'll eat it soon." Ian replied, making you nod at him with a small smile.
There was then a moment of silence between the both of you.
"Hey Y/N/N?-" Ian spoke up before being interrupted by the sound of your ringtone. You grabbed your phone out of your pocket and checked it. "Oh I am so sorry. Can I take this quickly?" You asked your boyfriend, earning a small nod from him. You smiled at him before going to answer the phone.
Ian looked back at his work and sighed,
"How do I tell her?..."
