I head out of my room and meet everyone in the quad.

My moms call is still in the forefront of my mind.

"Ok guys so I have the whole day planned. I hope you guys like mini golf." Della cheers, no one else meets her enthusiasm.

She's in pink high waisted jeans and a baby pink cami.

Jordan's wearing jeans and a black sweatshirt, Casper is wearing a loose fitted button down and jeans.

I am surprised no one has noticed we aren't in uniform.

"Why are we golfing Del? I have to golf with my dad once a month." Casper says, running his fingers through his short hair.

"It's not golf, it's mini golf. It's different." She defends.

"Same thing." He says and she shakes her head, "No it's not."

The ringing of the bell stops their arguing.

"Oh lets go." della squeals and we begin to head towards the back gate.

We pile in Caspers car like we had when we went to the party.

Jordan is in the passenger seat and Della and I in the back.

"So is that our first stop Del? Mini golf?" Casper asked pulling out onto the street.

She shakes her head, "No, first we are going to this bakery I follow on instagram. They have chocolate filled crepes."

Della gives Casper the address and fifteen minutes later we pull up to a small bakery in town.

When we walk inside I take a deep breath. It smells so good in here.

The walls are a pastel yellow and all the baked goods are on display in front of the counter.

"Welcome to Sherry's Baked Sweets, what can I get you guys today?" I younger woman asks from behind the counter.

Her uniform is a cute blue and white striped dress and her golden hair is in a slick back ponytail.

"Can I get two of your chocolate and marshmallow crapes, and a iced coffee please?" Della asks and the woman rings her up.

Jordan and Casper order and then it's my turn.

"Can I get one of your blueberry and honey filled crapes and a bottle of water?" I ask and the girl rings me up.

Once we get our food we take a seat at one of the tables outside.

It's a nice sunny day, barely any clouds in the sky.

"So after this we are playing mini golf. We aren't keeping score because with Jordan and Quinn playing there will be no winners but a lot of headaches." Della says and I roll my eyes.

I am not that competitive. Just the healthy amount.

"It's not like she could beat me anyway. I was champion three years in a row in middle school." Jordan says and I scoff.

"I could so beat you and I will."

"See no scoring, we are just having fun today." Della says pointedly.

Whatever.

We get to the course after brunch and pick our clubs.

Mine is dark blue.

I was going to pick the dark pink one before Jordan told me 'I better not choose the dark blue one.'

So naturally I took it out of spite.

The course isn't that huge but big enough that it will take us an hour or so.

"Remember it doesn't matter how many hits it takes, all that matters is that we finish the course." Della says as she looks between Jordan and I.

"Yeah, yeah." I say before throwing my hair up in a high ponytail.

Casper goes first and gets the ball in the hole in only two swings.

Della takes five swings to get it, the ball seems to bounces off the bumpers but never in the hole.

It is finally my turn.

I line my putter up with the ball, taking a deep breath.

"Don't choke Taylor." Jordan says and I flip him off before swinging and hitting the ball.

It takes me two swings until I get it in.

Now it's Jordans turn.

He hits it and it bounces off the bumper.

"Aww too bad Campbell." I say when he misses it a second time.

He gets it the third time.

By the third round I am so beating Campbells ass.

He claims however that he's beating me, not sure how though when I have less points than him.

When it's my turn again I line my club up once again this time however strong hands cover mine and a body presses up against me.

"What do you think you're doing Campbell?" I ask, feeling his breath his my neck.

"Just helping you out Angel." He says pressing tighter against me.

His body heat radiates off of him making me feel something I cannot describe.

"I don't need help from you, you're losing." I tell him trying to shake him off.

He obliges, "It's ok to admit you're losing Taylor. No one will hold it against you, remember we are playing to have fun." He teases.

I roll my eyes before hitting the ball.

I get it in three swings.

By the end I am clearly the winner even though Jordan Campbell would like to beg to differ.

And he does.

"I won Taylor, just accept it. I have." He says and I scoff.

"This is why we should've kept score, I knew you'd try and cheat." I tell him.

"Can't we just go and get lunch?" Della asks and we both nod, I throw him a glare over my shoulder as we head back to the car.

For lunch we eat at diner off the highway.

The burgers are divine, I have never had a burger so good in my life.

Even the milkshakes were amazing. It was so creamy and smooth, not like the icy ones at the academy.

After that Della took us to a flea market.

I bought everyone beaded bracelets with their name on it.

"And for you." I hand Jordan his.

He chuckles.

While Della and Casper got one with their first names he got one with Campbell.

"Does this mean we're friends?" He asks and I snort, "I wouldn't want you to cry because I left you out." I say and he scoffs.

"Oh well better head back to campus." Della tells us.

When Dean Anderson asks why I wasn't at my classes today I lie and tell him 'lady problems' he just nodded quickly and told me to let Terry know next time.
