"Goodnight." Poppy says to me before slipping under her covers and turning off her lamp.

I take that as my cue to get ready for bed. I shut my text books before placing them in my bag.

Then I gather my things to head to the showers.

Once in the washroom I shower and change into my silk sleep shorts and cami, brush my teeth and since I washed my hair yesterday I let my hair fall down my back in its curls I did this morning.

After I apply my lotion I pack my things up and head back to the room.

As I walk down the hall I can hear the rain pattering against the glass. There is supposed to be a storm coming in the next week, looks like it's already starting to make its appearance.

When I enter the room I set my bag down before slipping into bed and turning my own light off.

It's not long before sleep takes me.

The next morning I am awoken by a blaring sound coming from not just mine but Poppy's phone as well.

"What the hell." I say as I reach for my phone on the nightstand.

I crack one eye open to look at the screen.

Flash Flood Warning, it reads across the too bright screen.

There is also an email from the school saying school is canceled, that they want everyone to remain in their dorms for the day and that our hall resident will bring by some food.

Good that means I get to sleep in.

I place my phone back down on my nightstand before letting myself fall back in to a deep slumber.

The next time I wake up it's nine a.m.

I sit up in my bed stretching my arms over my head. My back cracks as I do so.

I can hear the thunderstorm loud and clear from my bedroom. I don't think I've heard a storm so loud since I was five, it got so bad the bottom level of our house flooded.

When I look over to the right side of the room I see Poppy sitting there nose buried deep in her textbook.

I get up out of bed and head out towards the bathrooms. Once I do my business and wash my hands I begin to leave the bathroom before all of a sudden the power goes out.

Because of the gloomy sky it's hard to see anything except the flashes of lighting streaming through the windows.

Using the wall I begin to try and feel my way out, then I feel the door knobs feeling until I count four knobs. Since the odd numbers are on one side and the even numbers are on the other I just have to go four down instead of eight.

Before I even manage to get to the second one an arm wraps around my upper arm and pulls me backwards.

"Who the fu-" I stop when I feel my back hit a wall and a door shut, a muscular body pressed against my front.

"If you don't tell me who you are I swear I am going to scream." I say trying to feel around for anything to get my hands on.

A deep chuckles resounds through what feels like a very small room.

"I would love to hear you scream for me Angel."

Fucking Jordan Campbell.

"What are you-" I stop myself once again when I feel him grip my waist, pressing himself flush against me.
