Hannah Miller was heartbroken when Sarah had sacrificed herself to keep Hannah safe, she wanted answers and wished that she had died with Sarah as she wanted to live the life that she had promised. The way that Sarah had spoke to Hannah, and her imagination, everything with her... seemed so timeless... she was loveable.

And amazing.

And caring.

And Hannah craved nothing than Sarah to hear her cries and prays for her to magically and somehow come back alive. So, she could crazily ramble on and on how she was and how she massively missed her, most likely stuttering on her words about it which would sometimes make her giggle, she barely smiled though. As Sarah was her life, she was the thing that kept Hannah hopeful and now that she was gone. She had no hope.

All of it was lost and she simply was strolling along her days with pain and suffer, she even visited her grave ever since she passed away. It became a ritual. Her mother would ask her to go get her the water which she would go collect then go out of the settlement and visit the grave. Talking to her grave quietly, making sure that no one was ever around and she would always have to sneak there to make sure it wasn't suspicious. But sometimes... just sometimes... she would catch Lizzy, Issac and Abigail there as well. And they would take turns,

As she went back to her house to see her mother there waiting for her,

"There you are," Goody Miller (I honestly can't believe her name is Goody, like Goody two-shoes like no your fucking no hen, anyway, sorry. just had to let that off my chest) spat at the girl who flinched slightly, "what's taken you so long?"

"Nothing." Hannah fired back before slamming the bucket on the table, "There you go, in case you haven't noticed." She spat at her before storming off to her room, slamming the door shut behind her.

She laid down on her bed, facing the window. Waiting for sleep, death or something life changing to happen to her and let her have some happiness back.

She felt fine when she was sleeping as she didn't have to face the town, she would feel over the moon as she would get to meet Sarah in the afterlife and she would feel happy if something like Sarah coming back to life happened.

*****

She woke up once again sighing as she heard her mother call on her name, she burst into Hannah's room just as she got up from the bed, the two having a small stare off.

"I've got someone here for you." She grinned out, looking happy. "Put something nice on—"

"No." Hannah denied as she stormed past her to see Caleb in her living room, "Wha— What're you doing here?" Hannah questioned in disbelief.

"I'm here to see you." He grinned out, Goody coming past the two,

"Can I offer you anything? Anything to eat? To drink?" She questioned.

"I was wondering if we could have some privacy." Caleb questioned,

"Of course." Goody agreed before looking at Hannah and then leaving the house to go help out around the settlement, as soon as the door shut, Hannah marched toward him, slapping him across the face.

"Why? Why would you lie?" Hannah asked, starting him down wishing for an answer, Caleb turned to her,

"Hannah, I love you—"
