HERE WE GO!

Y/n was woken up by the sun that was shining through her window, she had fallen asleep by her desk where she kept all of her poems. She groaned and turned her head but jumped when she saw Hannah stood there,

"Hi there." Hannah greeted to which Y/n groaned at.

"Hi..." She groaned out as she slowly sat up and stretched,

"Whoa, that's a big stretch." Hannah giggled out, with a shy smile on her lips that Y/n smiled at as she found her smile divine and attractive. "Long night of writing?" She questioned to which Y/n nodded her head at.

"Yes, but I think I've managed to do something. Something that I think might help with my dilemma." Y/n expressed to Hannah which made her eyes lighten up with excitement.

"You're going to publish them?" Hannah asked, hoping to hear a 'yes' but was immediately upset when Y/n shook her head.

"What? No." She scoffed out, "I am going to tell Sarah about them—"

"Y/n... you should honestly just send them to the newspaper! They'd love to hear from a creative poet and that is you." Hannah expressed to her but Y/n stood up and placed the poems she had written in the drawer that was apart of the desk,

"I can't. Me father wouldn't approve." Y/n reminded Hannah for what felt like the 15th million time.

"Oh, that excuse is getting boring! Old even. I mean he's accepted the fact that you want to be a poet or a writer—"

"He accepts it but that doesn't mean that he won't hit me if I publish my writing." Y/n sighed out as she went to leave her room but Hannah grasped her hand and turned her around,

"I need you to tell me that you'll at least consider this opportunity." Hannah breathed out, "If not for yourself, for me." She added, with plead in her eyes that made Y/n sigh.

"I suppose, I'll consider. I'll give you an answer tomorrow." Y/n sighed out to which Hannah let out a small squeal.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Hannah squealed out as she tightly pulled Y/n into a hug that made Y/n chuckle slightly. She hugged Hannah back. "Al I want is for you to been... your writing and poetry are amazing—"

"I don't need to be seen, Hannah. Not when I have you." Y/n expressed in a soft breath to Hannah, as she entangled their hands together, "I just need people to read my words and I'll be fine..."

"You deserve to be known for you. And not just your words." Hannah sighed out,

"The world will be disappointed if they find out it's me... so, I'm fine—"

"You're not! I can't be your only reader anymore! You're words... they—they are too powerful—"

"If you can't handle them, you shouldn't read them at all." Y/n angrily said which made them both silent as Y/n wasn't usually the type of person to snap at people.

(The next morning)

Y/n headed outside and felt people stare at her as she passed, she looked around confused as all she wanted to do was get some water. Water, people! All she wanted was water, what was with the stares?
