Note: I don't know why I wrote the start of the chapter like this. I'm very weird. I'm so sorry. This chapter is just full fluff, I guess?

----------

To say that your life is great would be an understatement. You and Natasha are slowly rebuilding your friendship once again, for River's sake. Natasha has been given another chance with you and the rest of the team, and now that she has a new purpose in life, she will do whatever it takes to keep you and your son in her life.

After the Hydra mission, you and Wanda began planning her wedding. Lena would occasionally stop by to help when she wasn't needed at her company, giving you more time with the older woman, which both of you enjoyed.

"You know, the pork-flavored ice cream still stands, right?" you asked your best friend, eliciting a melodic laugh from your girlfriend, who sat behind you with her arms wrapped around your waist.

"You've got to be kidding me, y/n/n. I thought we were past that," the young Sokovian complained, earning a small chuckle from you.

"Well, I got curious, and now I seriously want to try it."

"You're weird."

"I am not!" you gasped, placing your hands on your chest, pretending to be offended.

"Come on, y/n/n, your dad is rich. Heck, even your girlfriend is rich. You can have any food in the world, and it wouldn't make a dent in their bank account. And here you are asking for pork-flavored ice cream? That's just wrong."

Wanda couldn't help but laugh at your reaction. You knew she was right, but sometimes your curiosity got the best of you. After all, you were a Stark, and if something crossed your mind, you wouldn't stop at anything to get it.

"Wanda's right, my love. Surely you'd prefer me buying you your favorite dish rather than that disgusting ice cream," Lena chimed in, nodding in agreement with Wanda. It seemed like your two favorite people were out to prove you wrong.

"What do you mean disgusting? You haven't even tasted it yet," you defended, turning your body towards Lena to see her face properly. The young CEO's silence took you by surprise, causing you to gasp once again.

"No, you didn't?! You've already tried it? Without me? Really? How could you?!" you playfully slapped her arm.

"Hey! That wasn't nice!" Lena complained.

"You tried it, and you didn't take me with you!" you complained to your girlfriend.

"Oh, woe is me," Lena sarcastically remarked, earning another playful slap from you and causing Wanda to burst out laughing. You didn't say anything more, but you gave the green-eyed woman an "I hate you" look, which was enough for her to understand that she really should have taken you with her to that disgusting pork ice cream tasting.

----------

Natasha sat silently on the bed, cradling your son in her arms. She couldn't help but regret her decision months ago when she freaked out over the news of your pregnancy. River was a wonderful boy, and seeing him sleeping in her arms made her wish she could turn back the clock and make everything right, to have another chance at love with you. But she knew it was impossible. She could only dream of it, and for now, she was grateful to have you and your son back in her life.

"Well, you're lost in thought," you said quietly as you watched Natasha gently caress your son's cheek.

"Mhm... He's so wonderful. Thank you for this, Y/n," Natasha replied, looking up at your leaning figure in the doorway.

"I thought you deserved this. After all, you saved my life."

"You're not going to let me forget that, are you?" Natasha chuckled, knowing you would forever be grateful for what she had done.

"River would have lost one of his moms if it weren't for you," you said simply, earning a smile from Natasha.

"Are you fine with taking your son for the night?" you asked, your choice of words catching the ex-assassin off guard.

"Son?" Natasha managed to utter, shocked. She never thought she would have a chance to call River her son again, not after what you had said that night. She had started to accept that she would only be introduced to him as his aunt.

"Yeah, is that alright with you?" you asked cautiously, doubts still lingering in your mind.

"O-Of course! I'd love to have him for the night!" Natasha replied, her excitement evident. Not only had you made her happy, but now you also had the whole evening to spend with your girlfriend.

"I better get going then. Good night, Nat."

"Good night."

----------

"How's River?" Lena asked as you entered your shared room with her.

"He was asleep when I got to Nat's room. I didn't want to risk waking him up, so I asked Natasha if he could stay with her just for the night," you replied.

Lena was pleased with your response. After overcoming her doubts, she was truly proud that you were now willing to include Natasha in your son's life.

"That's great, my love. I'm proud of you."

You silently walked towards Lena, sitting on her lap and wrapping your arms around her neck.

"Now that someone's looking after our son for the night, maybe we could go out on a date and do a little something more after?" you suggested, eager to spend more time with the love of your life.

"I would love nothing more than to take you out on a date, my love," Lena responded.

You couldn't help but flash a bright smile at the older woman. She never failed to make you happy, even in the hardest times. Trailing her eyes down to your lips, Lena leaned in and kissed you. Time and time again, she made your heart skip a beat with her kisses. Lost in your own world, filled with love and affection, you sighed in content and slowly pulled away. Cupping Lena's face, you looked into her deep emerald eyes.

"You mean the world to me, Lee. I love you so much."

"I love you too, darling."

Note: I know it sucks. Please forgive my stupid ass. Seems like I can only write crappy chapters nowadays.

Also, Idk how to end this book, though I have some drama up my sleeves, I'm still torn on who Y/n is gonna end up with so it would be nice to know you guys thoughts and opinions.

Thank you!!!
