Kris pov
I was sitting down with the others at a circular table while ralsai served us tea and cakes. I haven't had a tea party since I was a little kid. This should be interesting.
"so you and ralsai aren't a thing" noelle gasped.
"what me and that nerd and that nerd a thing? Get real!" susie laughed loudly.
"I feel so silly for jumping to conclusions. I'm sorry for causing so much trouble everyone" noelle bowed apologetically.
"it's fine noelle. I'm just everyone's getting along again" ralsai smiled brightly "it's crazy to think that you guys moved in three whole days ago but you know I'm very happy you did. It feels wonderful to have company"
"I'll second that" susie grinned.
"alright pog gang let's make a toast to our new life in the dark world" birdly raised his tea cup. We all followed his lead and clicked cups.
"I've brought the cake out young prince" a owl looking monster in a maid outfit came out holding a chocolate cake "oh who's this?" her eyes landed on birdly.
"oh octavia this is birdly" ralsai introduced them "he's one of the lightners"
"hi birdly" octavia waved nervously "I like your armour. Its from star fox right?"
"you know my favourite game in the world!" birdly gasped.
"yeah I mean I've only played a couple that fell into the dark world but still!" she rambled a bit.
"that's amazing" birdlys eyes lit up. I guess he's excited to have a new gamer pal.
"anyway I must get going please excuse me!" she bowed before leaving.
I smiled to myself. Things have been great since we left for the dark world. Sure I still feel a little guilty for leaving my parents without a word but I can't deny that my emotional state has been alot better since I left.
"see kris I told you things would be perfect here" player said cheerfully "now if only you'd tell ralsai how much you love him-"
"don't say such stupid things!" I yelled as I turned red.
"Umm kris who are you talking to?" ralsai asked. Crap I embarrassed myself in front of my crush!
"oh just talking to myself" I laughed awkwardly.
"I see" noelle smiled nervously. Man I must look like a real nut job!
"oh who cares about that!" susie yelled "let's just dig into this cake already" we all nodded in agreement and were about to dig in when..
