My eyes widened as I stared at the two ladies in front of me.
"This is Carol, one of your new siblings. On top of that, meet Sister Krone!" Mama introduced with a smile.
Another wall we must overcome.
"Now we have 16 kids under the age of 3 to protect and our current enemy isn't mama alone." Norman muttered.
This just made things a lot more complicated for us...
"Okay children! Time to go play!" Mama exclaimed as she was knelt down in front of the children.
"What about you?" Phil asked.
"I'll join later. Mama must talk with Sister Krone for a moment." She stood up before looking over at Sister Krone. "Come with me."
"Rats!"
I jumped at Norman's word. "N-Norman!"
Norman sighed. "Sorry... it just seems like things aren't going so well for us. I also don't like the fact that she's moving into that room."
"It's even in the middle of all our rooms on the second floor!" Emma frowned.
"Re-organising the food supply, checking the extra sheets for any defects, we've been tricked into welcoming our second enemy onto our grounds! How did I not notice?! The hints were so obvious yet I was too blind to see it!" I groaned as I gripped my hair in frustration.
Ray placed a hand on my shoulder. "Calm down Y/N, even if you did, it's not like we could stop her from coming anyways, there's no need to-"
"That's not the point! Mama was intentionally sprinkling hints in front of our faces this whole time! If she had wanted to truly catch us off, she wouldn't have made us do just those 3 chores!" I gritted my teeth.
It was high likely we could guess her next move, yet she still caught us off guard!
We've already lost once against her!
Norman looked at me before saying.
"In order to escape, we have to overcome that mother of ours!"
I slowly let go of my hair with a sigh.
"But..."
"We also have to remember that us panicking might be part of her plan. The fact that's he's leaving all kinds of hints for us proves that she is trying to intimidate us into submission." Ray replied calmly.
"If that's the case, we shouldn't be backing down here. As long as we manage to get out of here, victory is still ours. So just don't feel bad because that's what the enemy wants. We should be celebrating right now!"
I stared at him in confusion before gasping. "Carol!"
Ray smirked. "Yes. Now we have 2 new species of information. We needed more information anyways this is exactly what we needed! We won't lose without gain! We'll be the ones to win this battle!"
"Yay! We finally get to play with Emma!"
Phil ran up to the same tree where 3 figures stood.
"Emma's not here... it's you guys..."
"Don... what even..."
"I'm pretending to be Ray, so basically you have nothing better to do, I'll play with you." Don grinned.
"Where's Emma?" Sherry asked.
"I'm not sure." Gilda sighed as she fixed Sherry's clothes.
"Is Norman here?"
"Probably."
"What about Y/N?"
"Same with Norman."
"Ugh! But I wanted to play with them! I feel like I haven't played with them in ages!" Phil groaned.
"Where do those 4 keep running off to?"
