Him.

Y/N.

I've loved him ever since I laid eyes on him.

"Morning Ray!" He waved.
A small smile was plastered on my face, a light pink dusting my ears, "morning Y/N."

I never understood why I liked him.

He was an idiot, and annoying,

yet why did my heart race,

seeing that shimmer in his eyes as he spoke?

When he'd lay his head on my shoulder after a few rounds of tag?

"It's okay! It's okay!"
He was only seven years old.
"Don't worry, Anna!" He turned to me. "What are you standing there for? Go get mama!"

His kindness, the way he treated everyone.

I couldn't bare to tell him the truth about this house.

When I first realised my feelings for him,

I couldn't accept it.

It felt unreal.

I couldn't be in love!

So I ignored him,

avoided him,

"Morning Ray!"
I turned my back on him.
"Ray...?"
My heart shattered hearing his soft, gentle voice whispering my name, calling my name.

as days passed,

I hoped my feelings would disappear.

But as I entered the library and saw him,

laying his head on the table,

puffy red eyes closed,

dry tears staining his cheeks.

I had no choice,

but to accept those dumb feelings of mine.

As everyday passed,

every hour spent with him.

I just felt a string,

pulling me closer,

and closer to him.

I knew

I needed to get him out.

He couldn't die.

He can't!

He can't!

Yet...

"Congratulations, Y/N and Norman. Your shipment date has been decided."

They were getting shipped out.

Two of my dearest friends,

Norman, my best friend since young,

and Y/N, my love.

Was getting shipped out.

Him getting hurt was already enough to make me mad.

He was almost like the light to my life.

Every morning,

He greeted me with a smile.

That same smile,

That could keep butterflies in my stomach for hours.
