"Has there been any changes to the plan?" I questioned Smee, who shook his head. "No, it's been running smoother ever since that kid went under Peter Ratri." I raised my eyebrow, "what kid?"

"Y/N."

The atmosphere grew even more tense once I heard his name. "Peter Ratri recruited him, and he's been focusing more of his attention on the boy than on us." He sighed, placing a finger under his chin. "The issue is that the boy may be even more dangerous than we thought... if Peter Ratri puts him in control of us, it could either mean the plan will be a success, or we'll have to make even more adjustments." Smee sighed, "that boy... he's becoming more and more like Mr. Ratri. We may need to keep an eye on him too."

My heart sank hearing Smee's words, 'Y/N... betrayed us?' I shook my head, biting my lower lip, 'not possible! He loves us too much! Unless...' The image of Y/N all bloodied and with that sinister look on his eyes appeared in my mind. 'I never realised this would happen...'

"We need to see what his exact intentions are. He may be trying to help us." I replied, "does he know about us? If he approaches us with intentions of helping, it's best not to trust him too much."

Smee nodded in agreement, "we're coming up with a separate plan, just in case Y/N were to catch up onto us." My eyes narrowed, "I'll be waiting."

NOVEMBER 2046

Y/N

"Yeah, you may be physically better than him but he always uses his head so beating him isn't that straightforward. Furthermore, tag is a game that allows tactical approach to shine the brightest."

"How will the target move? How will it attack me? You need to analyse and observe the situation. See through and predict the enemies' plan and use all of it to form a better plan. Think of it as chess, where you use your body to maximise all the movements on the board."

I smirked, letting out a soft sigh as I made my way to the conference room, 'thanks Ray, for that stupid advice. Never thought I'd be using it in the future.' I pushed open the door, and once I stepped in, those inside stood up immediately. "Sir!" They bowed.

Nodding, I gestured for them to sit. "We'll begin the meeting now. Operation: Lambda 2048. In order to create a mass-produced super premium quality meat to satisfy Her Majesty and the Five Regent Houses, we have been experimenting and studying Subject 22194's brain waves and the way his body operates. It seems as though his frontal and parietal regions of his brain communicate and exchange information rather quicker than the rest of the subjects in Lambda." I explained, switching slides as I spoke.

"However, due to the disappearance of the cattle children, including premium quality goods: 63194 and 81194, we will have to postpone the shipment to 26 February 2047. They were last located at B01-14 after being tracked by a small troop of demons, their whereabouts are unknown at this point in time."

'26 February, that better be enough time for you to execute the plan, Smee.'

"For now, put your focus onto tracking the progress of the meat quality at Lambda and keeping an eye on surrounding settlements and guarding the other plantations, we need to be able to produce good quality meat to satisfy HIM, Her Majesty and the Five Regent Houses before the Tifari. Do not mess it up." I ended my presentation, "you are all dismissed." I firmly spoke, they all stood up and bowed, "thank you, sir!" Before leaving.

I began packing my stuff, but noticed that a certain someone wasn't leaving.

"Bravo!" I raised an eyebrow at the voice, "great work there, sir! Though, I find it interesting that the Subject 14394 is working for Mr. Ratri and going so far as to put your focus onto catching the cattle children." Mr. Mortefaire spoke, walking up to me and placing a hand on my shoulder. "Do you not care about them anymore?" He gasped, feigning pity, "and I thought you were family!"
