We found Don and Gilda again, and immediately, we sprinted towards them.

"I'm sorry. I was so focused on wanting to escape that I didn't trust you guys, I was being naive. Please forgive me." I apologised, a frown on my face.

My heart was filled with immense guilt. 'Please...'

"You guys supported us, you guys were eager to help us, yet I lied to you, I hurt you and I'm sorry." Emma hung her head low.

"Us too!" Norman spoke up.

"A-Ah! I- uhm..." Don looked at the floor. "I'm sorry for lashing out on you. You guys o- well obviously not! Come on, let's head to the infirmary!" He waved his hands around frantically.

I shook my head. "No need! There's no need for that." I laughed as I held his hands.

"We're sorry too. We acted on our own. Ray was right to be mad at us, we should've listened to you guys." Gilda apologised. "It's just that we..."

They sulked.

I stared at Ray and I could see him not wanting to forgive them.

"Come on~"

Don did puppy-dog eyes making Ray sigh. "Fine, fine. I forgive you. If anything happens, I'll cover for you." He paused before frowning. "I'm also sorry for... all the stuff I did."

I smiled. "That's a good Ray~!"

"Shush you! I'm going to kill you!" Ray grumbled as he got me in a so-called chokehold.

"Alright, alright. Petty lies are now going out the window so let me ask again." Everything got serious. "We're dead meat if we screw up, but are you still willing to come with us?"

The pair looked at each other before smiling. "Of course!"

My eyes softened.

"We'll do whatever we can to be worthy of your faith! So let us do anything we can to help!"

I smiled as I hugged them. "Thank you so much!"

"Wait, Y/N." Norman turned to me. "You still haven't explained why you were shaking when you entered the dining hall for dinner today." Suddenly, all the attention was on me. I sighed, staring at the grass. "Mama asked me whether I went to the gate today." I nibbled on my lower lip, trying to form sentences without stumbling over them. "I-I... she... I just..." A hand was placed on my shoulder, and as I looked up, I saw all five of them staring at me. "You don't have to continue if you don't want to..." Norman gave a reassuring smile.

"I mean... she suspects the four of us. But not Don and Gilda. Maybe... maybe we could use this to our advantage." I gave them a smile, and they nodded in understanding.

"All right, we'll have to start preparing for the next step, inspection."

"We already have a task set out for you two." Norman smiled as he explained the plan to them.

--11/1, WEDNESDAY--

Today was laundry day.

I pulled down the dried laundry.

"You know, I feel so much better that we've come clean." Emma sighed in relief.

"Agreed!" I smiled.

I felt like that was the right time to tell them the truth.

1 week before we execute our plan.

Everything is going just as plan! Nothing can go wrong from here,

the only issue is fooling Ray.

But how?

It's purely impossible to pull off during this current situation?

"Hey, Y/N, got time to hear me out for a bit?" Emma called out.

"Sure."

"I've been thinking for a bit on how to get everyone out."

'''''

"Do you think it's too risky?"

I gulped. "yeah..."

"But still, I think that this way is possible to catch mama off guard. Maybe this is the most plausible way to all of us escape!" Emma stated.

I grinned. "Yeah."

With this plan, we may be able to escape with everyone without Ray finding out.

But there's been something on my mind.

"When did you find out about the secrets of this house?"

"I've been trying to keep you three alive!"

If I'm not, Ray may be trying to...

Well, I still need to stop him.

"What're you three doing?" I asked.

"Norman asked us to swipe laundry powder and herbicide. But, what do you even need this for?" Don asked.

"They'll be useful when we carry out our investigation." Norman smiled, leaving them confused.

We walked out. "By the way, by investigation, you mean climbing over the gates and checking what's outside, right?" Gilda questioned making Norman nod.

"Yup."

"But what about our trackers?"

I smiled. "Easy peasy."

"All we need to do is divert the adults' attention. Distract Mama and Sister Krone so they won't look at their watches. We need to create a scenario where they won't be looking at their watches and quickly execute the plan."

"But how?"

Norman, Emma and I smirked. "Ray's already got mama under control."

--------

"Guys, I get that Ray has mama under control..." Don started. "But what about Sister Krone?"

"Yeah... what if she finds out?" Gilda frowned.

We smiled again. "We already have a plan for her."

Now the only thing left is to inspect, gather materials for our journey, incapacitate the adults and get everyone over the wall.

I won't give up on anybody.

Nobody is getting killed on my hands.

This will definitely wo-

I froze as I looked up at the large figure in front of me. 'Where did she come from? How did I not notice?!'

"Do you need something?" I asked.

She giggled. "Oh, I've seen it all."

"Huh?"

"Your conversation at the dining hall. I heard it all." She smirked. "The target includes the six of you."

Norman, Ray, Don, Gilda, Emma, Y/N...

would you...

"Like to team up with me?"

...

"Huh?"
