Frost coated the windows so thickly that Lucy could not see a thing outside of the Hogwarts Express. The scarlet red train was chugging along back towards the castle as the winter holiday came to an end. Draco's loafer-clad foot tapped anxiously against the carpeted floor beside her. Lucy already had put on her Slytherin uniform and new headband from Narcissa. Across from them sat, to Lucy's utmost surprise, Theo. However, there was a rather tense and awkward silence between the trio since the train had left King's Cross station.

"Are we even going to talk about the fact that you're a Death Eater now, Lucy?" blurted out Theo suddenly, staring at Lucy with concern.

"How do you bloody know-?" began an irritated Draco who tensed up beside the raven-haired girl.

"I was there when it happened. Where were you, Malfoy?" snapped Theo in return.

Draco tensed beside her, and Lucy could feel anger begin to radiate off his usually cold skin.

"You didn't tell me he's a Death Eater too," grumbled Draco, his stormy eyes piercing into Lucy.

"Oh I'm sorry, I was a bit preoccupied with the fact that I was in extreme pain." She replied sarcastically. "And there's nothing to talk about, Theo. I'll manage,"

Draco's fists were balled tightly as he glared down the boy across from him. "Oh just shut it already, Nott! She doesn't need a reminder!"

"Piss off, Malfoy," Theo retorted before standing up and wordlessly exiting the compartment. Lucy turned a concerned gaze towards Draco.

"What was that for?" she demanded, folding her arms across her chest. "You two were once best mates, y'know!"

"I didn't want to listen him patronize us," scowled the blonde boy. before sliding down on the seat and closing his eyes.

"Just try not  to bite his head off, please" Lucy sighed before she begrudgingly opened up the giant purple book beside her and began to read. Silence overcame the two as the train sped closer towards Hogwarts.

While the repair of Vanishing Cabinets is a very strenuous and difficult process, mending may be possible in some circumstances. The spell that has proven to be the most useful in mending a damaged cabinet is Harmonia Nectere Passus. Performed in a swift, counter-clockwise movement precisely twelve times, this spell takes a long period of time and effort in order to successfully mend a Vanishing Cabinet. Results may vary depending on the condition of your cabinet.
