Unfortunately that night was greeted with a terrible nightmare. Death and destruction everywhere. I had killed them. The maids and servants, random people in the kingdom it was all in ruin as they lay dead. I saw the corpses of Mother and Charlene terrified looks on their faces

I looked down to see my hands stained with blood

I did this. Everything was all my fault.

"Why are you so shocked. You got your revenge didn't you. Now... just two more loose ends to tie up." A mysterious voice said

I looked around but couldn't find the source of the voice instead seeing two figures. Father in his full battle armor with a look of disappointment on his face and Sophie with one of pain and sadness. Sophie was missing her arm

"Well congratulations Excella you got your revenge. Satisfied?" Father was speaking directly to me his words were calm but I could hear the anger in his voice and his trembling. He was furious

"I foolishly spared your life because you had the form of my daughter but I see now that was a mistake. You really hated us so much you'd kill not only your mother but many citizens of the kingdom!" His anger began to make itself present

"F-father I-"

"SILENCE! I believed Lisia's words that you cared about your people. I can see now you were nothing more than a a weapon meant for destruction." He laid everything on the table but I could see tears in his eyes now

"I'm sorry Lilian. But I can't let you take anymore lives. This quest of revenge ends now... I'll make it quick this time."

Then I saw his sword drawn and he and an injured Sophie charged towards me with intent to kill.

"NO!" I yelled only to realize I wasn't asleep anymore. I was in bed with tears staining my face.

I couldn't continue this. I just couldn't

"I... I don't want revenge anymore."

"Great dragon I was wondering something."

"WHAT IS IT LISIA?" The dragon responded

It felt strange simply calling a creature great or holy dragon. I was curious if it actually had a name or not

"Do you have a name? It seems strange to just call you dragon." I informed him

He closed his eyes and while I couldn't read his facial expression given that it was 90% scales I could take a guess that he was thinking of an answer very carefully

"MY NAME CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD OR PRONOUNCED IN ANY HUMAN LANGUAGE... HOWEVER A COMPANION FROM MANY LIFETIMES AGO DECIDED TO REFER TO ME AS EOS. YOU MAY DO THE SANE IF YOU WISH." The holy dragon or Eos as he decided to go by informed me

Surprisingly despite being what could be considered a messenger of God Eos was actually fairly sociable and made for decent company in this quiet Garden.

But his knowledge was also helpful for me. I received confirmation that Lilian was in fact Excella in her previous life. Not a case of possession but the same soul. She also retained almost all of her memories from her previous life which sadly was not a very happy one.

I made a mental note that I'd need to take her to the place once she was a little older and I was healthy enough to walk.

"Unnnn unnnnn" the young spirit grunted to get my attention. I hadn't given her a name yet because I decided it would be Lily's decision to make

"IT APPEARS IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO WAKE UP LISIA. GO NOW YOUR PEOPLE AND FANILY ARE WAITING." Eos instructed me and I nodded cradling the young spirit in my arms before stepping through an archway.
