SOYOUNG'S POV

I looked at Namjoon with conceiving eyes so that he would bother to stay here anymore because I knew if he did then there would be no chances of me faking my happiness. I would get bursted into tears any moment and I didn't wanted him to again caught me lying.

"Ghayo, oppa! Dah gwaenchanh-a. Your sis isn't that easy to be scared."

He seemed suspicious but I didn't had anything else to say or he would definitely find out that I was suffering. He nodded and swiped his palm on my head, caressing my hair he said," I'll be always here for you. Just remember that you have two oppa to get care from."

I hummed in response before he made his way outside the entrance. He waved goodbye and I did the same.

The rain almost vanished with the clouds separating to make partitions for the sunlight to come through like a flashlight.

Coming back into the house I locked the door and elevated a heavy breath. I looked around and saw how gloomy the whole house was looking but I didn't cared when my own life was much worse. Dragging myself to the bedroom and plopped on the bed, staring at the white ceiling and reminding myself of every single thing that Jungkook had said to me that day.

THREE YEARS AGO

Today I would definitely clear things with Jungkook. I was waiting for Jungkook to show up on the terrace of the hotel because the party downstairs was already a chaos to discuss things between us.

Seokjin had thrown a party to everyone. It was Jieun who convinced him to have it on her ninth month.

She said," I have a wish that before I give birth I want to have a gathering of all the people I ever knew. Please, make it possible before I give you my everything and rest in peace."

Seokjin cupped her face and connected their forehead. He whispered," Never say that again. It makes me think that you are going to leave me, forever and I cannot live without you."

Jieun teared up and touched his heart."I will always be with you, in here, forever."

Oppa indeed found her act a bit strange as if she would leave us any moment but he shrugged thinking that she might be really wanting to see everyone.

So here we were having a party where ex-BTS members and other groups were invited along with other businessman while I was all alone in the cold night, sniffling and rubbing my palms together to attain some heat.

I hope he had read that text message which I sent him, to come up here and meet me.

I have already waited for an hour but no one came. Somehow I felt uneasy that may be he won't come. I was wasting my time but still I hoped, just hoped that he would show up.

I had questions, unresolved doubts whose answers lingered with that one man.

Again I exhaled on my palms, rubbing them together. It was so cold at the end of November. The sky clear with twinkling stars but swift cold winds did no mercy.

"You shouldn't wait for me."

A hoarse voice made me turn around. There at the doorway he stood leaning against the door with his hands crossed. He was furious for God knows why but this was the only chance I got to clear things up with him.
