It has been almost two weeks since the day Soohyuk was fired. Rosé never appeared in front of Jungkook until today. He was enjoying his alone time at the gymnasium after he got that idea to avoid seeing her on Sunday. He did not tell Jimin that he went exercising at the gym and Jimin never asked him further about it either.
"So, this is your new favourite place, huh?", he was startled when he heard Jimin's voice until he had to stop the treadmill he was running on.
"Hyung, you startled me.", he said as he turned around to look if Jimin is alone or with someone else.
"Uh-huh, obviously.", Jimin responded as he looked around too. "What are you looking for? I'm right here, man..", he added as he made Jungkook looked at him.
Jungkook shook his head as he got down from the treadmill, "You came here alone?"
Jimin nodded, "What? Are you expecting Rosé here with me?"
Again, Jungkook shook his head.
"Who knows...you always spend your Sunday morning with her.", he said to the elder who went to take the lightest barbell weight an slowly lifted it a few times.
"Not today. She cancelled it, something came up she said.", Jimin said before he hissed as he put back the barbell weight on the floor mat.
"Something came up, huh?", Jungkook said quietly, not wanting to get Jimin's attention on it.
"Oh, Jungkook. How's your team? Still doesn't have a new leader yet?", Jimin asked.
Jungkook shook his head with a sigh, "I don't know. For now, I'm working with direct order from Taehyung only."
Jimin nodded his head before he speaks, "Jungkook, I have a good feeling."
"What feeling?"
"I feel like it's your time to shine. I think you're going to be promoted as a team leader replacing that biased Hugh.", Jungkook chuckled at Jimin's words. "I'm serious, Kook. You have the potential to be a leader. You do all the work more than everyone else in the technical department.", he chuckled again while shaking his head to Jimin.
"I have a long way to go, hyung.", Jungkook replied.

When Monday morning came, everyone was speaking about a person they all saw at the lobby with Rosé. Their conversation somehow came to Jungkook's ears when he was waiting for the elevator to go to the floor he worked at.
