"Oui! Bien sûr, mon chéri!", Rosé said as her eyes filled with warm tears of joy as she waited for Jungkook to put the ring on her finger.
"Bien...what?", Jungkook looked at her blinking as he was lost with her words.
"Oh, it means of course, honey. Bien sûr is of course, mon chéri is you. I mean honey. Mon chéri is honey.", she translated to him.
He smiled as he understood it.
"So, it's a yes..", he finally put the ring on her ring finger.
It surprised her that the diamond ring fit perfectly as she followed Jungkook to stand up.
"Oui, yes, honey.", Rosé smiled as she admired the ring on her finger. "How do you know my ring size?", she asked him.
"I secretly measured it while you sleep.", he answered as he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
She frowned, "When? We haven't met for a month-"
"When you got admitted to the hospital.", Jungkook revealed to her.
"About three months ago? You've got to be serious...", her words were cut off again as Jungkook sealed his lips with hers.
"I'm always serious about us. That's why I learned how to say will you marry me in French, I practiced hard for this moment, I prepared you a surprise that you can never expected, I know you're going to love it.", he said after the soft kiss they shared.
Rosé was blushing hard as she smiled at his every word. She did not realized that a tear escaped her left eye. Jungkook wiped it off with a small chuckle looking at her reaction.
"I didn't know you've planned this for months..."
Jungkook shook his head, "To propose you tonight is right but the surprise I have for you is actually a last minute plan."
"Surprise? What surprise?", she asked him, confused of what else he got in mind to surprise her.
Jungkook smiled before he gestured her to wait and he walked to his luggage to take the guitar case beside it. Rosé looked at him with a smile as he walked back towards her with an acoustic guitar brought along. He handed her a folded paper and she took it as they both sat down on the sofa.
He strummed once, "Do you remember when you asked me what I wish for my birthday?"
Rosé opened the folded paper to see that it is a song lyrics, "Is this it? Singing to me? Our First Song?"
Jungkook said yes as he got ready to sing, "You can sing it with me if you want."
Then, he began strumming the guitar to the song and sing it.
