A Sad Beta

Hoseok doesn't remember the last time he was so in his head.

So full of doubt.

With the overwhelming feeling of failure.

He couldn't get out of bed. He just stared at the wall, hating the way he felt.

"Hoseok-Hyung, Seokjin-Hyung said you need to get up. Your breakfast is getting cold."

Hoseok made no indication he had heard the young Omega.

He made no effort to reply.

Yeonjun stepped over to the bed, shaking the Beta's shoulders.
"Hyung? Seokjin-Hyung told me to-"

"I heard you!" Hoseok snapped, startling Yeonjun.

The Omega stepped back towards the door.

Hoseok wasn't one to snap at people.

Yeonjun doesn't remember a time he had even raised his voice.

"I'll let him know." The young Omega said quietly, making a quick exit out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

Hoseok growled angrily to himself.
He didn't mean to take his anger out on his pack members.

Especially the Omega Pup.

The door opened once again.

Hoseok sighed.
"I heard you, Yeonjun. Tell Seokjin I'll be out shortly." He mumbled.

"Do you want to tell me why Yeonjun is crying into Jooheon's chest?" It was Seokjin's voice that filled the room.

Hoseok turned to face the older Beta.

"Sorry Hyung. I didn't mean to..." His eyes filled with tears.

Seokjin clicked his tongue.
"Whats wrong? You've been quiet and not like yourself the past few days. Seungcheol said to give you space, but I can see something is bothering you."

Hoseok held up his arms, a silent beg for cuddles.

Seokjin gave a tiny smile. He laid down on the younger Beta's bed.

"You can tell me anything." He said, kissing Hoseok's forehead.

"My work went bankrupt. Everyone got let go." He said suddenly.

Seokjin frowned.
"Why didn't you tell us?" He asked.

Hoseok rolled his eyes.
"And tell you what? That I'm a failure?" He snapped.

Seokjin frowned.
"You're not a failure, Hoseok. It's going to be okay. Many of us work, we have enough income-"

"But I'm not contributing. I want to help." Hoseok blinked back his tears.

Seokjin gave him a warm smile.
"And you will. I can help you apply for jobs if you'd like."

Hoseok gave a small smiled back.
"Thanks, Hyung."

"I should go apologise to Yeonjun." He said, sitting up.

Seokjin nodded.
"I think thats a great idea."
