Chapter 52: feelings revealed

Okay so I am writing a few chapters of God's currently, and I just wanna say the chapters start shit but they slowly get better from there.

Karl POV.

My eyes fluttered open and I let out a yawn as I sat up. I don't remember what happened when I went to sleep but I remember that I was with Nick and Alex when I fell asleep. After laying there for a few minutes I sat up and looked around.

I can't remember where I fell asleep but now I was in my room. A gentle breeze flowed in through the open window and the door was shut. My eyes squinted as the sunlight streamed into my eyes.

It was late in the afternoon as I stood up, walking over to the door and opening it. The sound of the TV was coming from the living room and so I stumbled into it. Nick and Alex were in there watching a movie. When they saw me they gave a relieved smile.

For a moment we just stood watching each other, memories of me falling asleep in their arms made me blush. Without a word the ravenette opened his arms, silently welcoming me to join them on the couch. I opened my mouth to say something but no words left it, and so instead of speaking I just climbed in between them.

"What happened after I fell asleep?" I immediately asked.
Alex adjusted himself so he could wrap his arms around my chest and my head was in the crook of his neck. "Well you and I cuddled in the backseat of the car, then we got home and Nick and I just carried you into your room."

I nodded, listening to Alex talk, then Nick responded. The pair of them just had a conversation for a while while I listened but I couldn't help but feel thirsty, thirsty for the taste of blood. I didn't want to speak up so I bit the inside of my cheek and tried to distract myself.

I ran my tongue along the inside of my teeth before noticing that Nick was talking to me. My eyes widened when I realised he was talking to me and I gave a quiet response, asking him to repeat what he said.

The ravenette gave a small chuckle. "Alex and I were just wondering what happened with Herobrine." He stated with a soft, comforting tone.
"Oh..." I muttered, sitting up and adjusting myself so both myself and Alex were more comfy.

"Well he seems to have a lot of power and influence." I stated. "Nobody ever goes against him because he'll kill them. That is why some vampires do what they do, because they are worried of what Herobrine would do to them if they disobey." I explained while the pair listened quietly.

"He has a sidekick, or a worker or something. I don't know much but he is British." I remembered to add after a moment of thinking.
The pair exchanged curious glances with each other and I opened my mouth to ask them a question, but didn't.

I didn't though because Alex asked me a question instead, his tone slightly more shaky now. "Is there anything else we need to know? Did anything else happen?"
For a moment my eyebrows furrowed but I lowered my tone before answering. "I think Herobrine wants me to work for him." I muttered, causing both of them to start yelling.

"What? He asked you to work for him?" Alex asked in a yelling tone.
"You have to say no. You'll get killed, Karl!" Nick yelled at the same time. Being within close proximity of the two made me cover my ears and grumble something incoherent.

When they quietened down I removed my hands from my ears and glared at them both for a moment. "Why don't you want me working for Herobrine?" I questioned. "Couldn't it be useful for you and your work?"

"Yes... but-" Nick cut himself off with a sigh and I raised an eyebrow.
"But what?" I muttered, feeling confused as to why he wouldn't want to try and get information on Herobrine, and I stated that. "Don't you want me to find out about Herobrine?" I asked, looking from one of the pair to the other.

"We do, but... we don't want you to get hurt." Nick said, saying the last half of the sentence after a few moments of silence.
"Why not?" I asked. "I can handle myself... you-you know I can."

Before I spoke Alex cupped my cheek, making me stop before I could start completely ranting. I leaned into his touch and then he spoke. "We know you can Karl." He murmured. "But we are just worried."
"Why are you worried?" I couldn't help but wonder out loud.

"Because..." Nick stopped before saying anything else, looking away as his face took on a red hew. My eyes widened as I think I figured it out and I blushed too. When the pair seemed to realise that I had figured it out they looked back over at me.

"Is it because you like me?" I muttered, hoping that neither would hear. Both of them looked surprised that I said that but gave small nods nonetheless. My lips flattened into a straight line as I tried to figure out what that meant.

Well obviously I knew what that meant. It means that both Alex and Nick like me. And I do like them both back, obviously I've known that for a while. But could the 3 of us even be together? A vampire dating vampire hunters was like Batman dating the Joker or something. Could it even work?

From the corner of my eye I could see the confusion, or was it concern, on Alex and Nick's faces. Both were watching me quietly. "How could we?" I asked, being unsure if it was directed to myself or to them. "How would it even work?"

A gentle kiss to my forehead broke me out of my train of thought and I watched as the ravenette lowered his head so his eyes met mine. "It's up to you." he said quietly, his hazel eyes meeting mine.

For a moment we watched each other before turning to Alex who I was still sitting on. He leaned forward and entrapped my lips with his, causing me to blush profusely before leaning into his soft touch.

The pair of them watched me as my face practically turned into a tomato. I averted my gaze and the pair gave a small chuckle before leaning in to both kiss me on the cheek. When they pulled away I moved from cuddling into Alex to cuddling into Nick.

"I think I want to be boyfriends... if that's okay." I muttered, and even though it took the pair a few moments to respond to what I said, the smiles on their faces were wide and happy.
"Personally. I'd love that." Nick purred into my ear, causing me to shiver slightly.
"Same." Alex cooed. "You are pretty, so am I, Nick isn't but the 3 of us make a good balance."

Their smiles softened when they heard me chuckle at their antics before I leaned into their warmth more, feeling happy to be curled up with my boyfriends. They both responded by wrapping their arms around me and the 3 of us sat in a peaceful silence in the late afternoon.

I'm gonna have a never ending list of future stories soon. I swear to god. I have already got ideas for the next 8 or 9 fucking stories.

With a new one added to the pile of future failures today.
