Sage PoV
Rafe didn't bother drinking the tea, he instead said that he had to leave.
Something about Wheezie.
I watch as Kat shuffled awkwardly.
"Is she ok?" Kat asks , she didn't seem genuine.
Almost like she knew something I didn't.

"Yeah, she just doesn't feel well, I'll see you guys later or something" Rafe sounded upset, his voice was unsteady and he practically ran out the door.
"What the hell was that?" I ask the small girl in front of me.
"What?" She questioned, like she didn't know.

"You just totally rejected him" the gears in my brain clicked and I knew that she had let him get away.
I had no clue why?
She looks at her hands not answering me.
"Why? Do you not like him? Or-" I'm cut off by her standing up.
She looked frustrated.

"I can't! I can't go after him or kiss him because that would be wrong- my friends would never forgive me!" She shouts slightly.
I couldn't help but let out a laugh of disbelief.
"You really care what your friends think? After what they did to you tonight! They watched as Sarah fucking humiliated you! You could have him! He likes you! I don't even have that!"
My voice was raised as I spoke.

I regretted saying the last bit, her face frowned in confusion.
"What?" She questioned me, she stepped closer.
"I like someone who's got a boyfriend and I don't even know if their gay , I can joke and say how I think their lesbian all I want but that doesn't change the fact that they don't like me how I like them" my voice was barely a whisper.

I liked Kiera, she was funny and genuine.
But she has a boyfriend.
"Kie? You like Kiera?" I notice Kats smile, she looked happy for me.
Like I'd achieved something.
But I haven't achieved anything, she didn't like me back and now I'm alone.

"Don't throw away what you have- I'd kill to be straight hell it would be a lot easier then trying to guess who's Gay and who just wants to be my friend" I couldn't help the tears that streamed down my face.
Kat lunges at me, wrapping her arms around me.

"Don't you ever wish to be someone you're not- ever!" She hugs me tighter and I spot Rafe stood outside by his car, he was pacing.
He couldn't leave-
"Go, go get him" I pull away and she tilts her head, she looked almost dazed like she didn't know what I was on about.

"Go get Rafe-" my voice was firm, almost like I was commanding her to go get him.
"But you-" I interrupt the fairy like girl with placing my hand on her cheek.
"Go, I'll be fine, I'm not going anywhere" I smile at Kat and she nods.
I watch as she quickly turns, she was hoping he was outside.
But honestly even if he wasn't I believed she would've ran to his house just to get him.

Katerina Night POV
I quickly turn away from my smart friend.
Practically ripping open the door, my eyes on my feet as I run down my porch steps.
I finally look up and there he was.
Stood by his car, he was walking to come get me too.

"I don't care what they think-" I stop in my tracks, my voice was small , I was scared.
I've never really told Rafe how I feel.
That's when he storms towards me, grabbing my face.
Our lips connect in a desperate kiss.
I felt like I was levitating.
My hands run up his neck, through to his hair.
Pulling and tugging on it trying to bring him closer to me.

His hands were snaked round my waist, his grip was tight.
He lifted me up slightly, I moaned into the kiss.
I didn't want this to stop.
Ever.

Rafe's POV
I walk out the house, I open my car door.
No.
My feet wouldn't move, I couldn't get in the car and leave her.
I just couldn't.
She's the only one who's made me feel like I'm actually worth something more then what I was meant for.

I hated her for that, how much control she had Over me and my actions.
I also liked her for that.
Liked how she made me feel.
I shut my door with a slam, if I go back up there, she'll just say the same thing.
That she won't be mine because of Sarah.
I'll just get rejected.
