Chapter 8

Week 4

"Guess who is home!" Wyatt shouted as he entered the house.

"Honey!" Heaven screamed while running up to him, she jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his hips. He rained kisses all over her face, making her giggle.

"This is our new thing now, I come in and you run up to me then we kiss?" Wyatt asked and Heaven nodded.

"Yes that's our little routine" Heaven said and Wyatt pecked her lips a few times.

"Where are the kids?" Wyatt asked while looking around.

"They fell asleep" Heaven replied and Wyatt glanced at his watch.

"Wow at 2:30 pm they must be really tried" Wyatt muttered.

"I thought you would've came home earlier?" Heaven said as she got off him.

"Yeah I stopped at the store to get something, which reminds me" Wyatt paused "close your eyes" he whispered in her ear and she did just that. A few seconds later he came back. "Open" he told her.

"Aww you didn't have to" Heaven said when she saw the roses.

"And I got you your favourite chocolate" he added "I'll do anything for my wife and the mother of my kids" Wyatt said then kissed her passionately.

"Thank you honey, I love you" she told him and he smiled.

"I love, love, love you" he said and she pecked his lips "so has everything been alright with Seth?" Wyatt asked.

"Yeah, he's okay, helps out around the house and the kids like playing with him I guess" Heaven shrugged.

"Oh that's nice we are going to have a drink later, anyways the girls are sleeping so let's have a little fun" Wyatt grinned as he lift Heaven off the floor bridal style. Wyatt was about to run up the stairs when he heard a knock on the front door. They both shared a glance then knitted their eyebrows together in confusion.

"Hmm... who could that be?" Wyatt asked as he placed Heaven down. They walked up to the front door and Wyatt opened it, only to be welcomed with Wyatt's mom, Beth.

"Hello everyone" Beth said with a big smile. She kissed her sons forehead then turned towards Heaven and kissed her cheek.

"Where are my twin girls!" Beth shouted as she walked inside the house. Heaven was about to tell her that the twins were asleep when she heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Nana" the twins said in unison as they ran up to Beth.

"Oh my god look at my big girls" Beth said as she led them over to the couch.

"No fun time for us, I guess" Wyatt said and Heaven nodded then patted him on the shoulder.

"You know it" she told him and he pouted. "Would you like anything to drink?" Heaven asked Beth.

"Yes thank you, some water would be fine" Beth said as she rained kisses all over the twin face. "I missed you girls so much" Beth said and the giggles.

"Nana no toy?" Zuri asked while looking around.

"No I didn't buy any toy, next time" Beth said and Zuri pouted then got off Beth's lap.

"Where are you going?" Beth asked and Zuri stopped then turned towards her.

"No toy, no wove" Zuri said then folded her arms.

"Sorry mom, she learnt that from me" Wyatt laughed and Beth rolled her eyes.

"She is feisty, Zara doesn't mind. You need to stop putting those things into their little heads" Beth said and Zuri ran up to her.
