Week 26

Wyatt glanced at his watch to see what time it was. He sighed in relief when he saw that he wasn't late for work. Someone cleared their throat and Wyatt looked up. "Oh good morning boss, are you ready to start the day?" Wyatt asked and his boss nodded then looked at his watch.

"Wyatt" Someone called and he knew that voice sounded familiar. Wyatt turned on his heels then looked up in surprise.

"Alexis, What are you doing here?" Wyatt asked.

"My daughter will be accompanying me today" Mr McLean stated and Wyatt gave him a nervous smile.

"Wyatt I have something to tell you" Alexis said as she nervously bit down on her lip.

"Is something going on between you two?" Mr. McLean asked with a questionable look on his face.

"No Boss" Wyatt said as he fiddled with his tie. Wyatt glanced at Alexis and saw that her happiness turned to sadness.

"Alrighty then we should get going" Mr. McLean said then walked off.

"Why are we having another meeting at the Acker's corporation?" Wyatt asked as he got into the car with the boss.

"We have to make everything final they already agreed on the design of the nursing homes being implemented, I'm mean, who does not like old people" Mr. McLean laughed and Wyatt nodded then smiled. He could feel her staring at him which made him wonder what she wanted to tell him. They haven't talked in a few weeks after he blocked her number.

"We are here" Wyatt stated when he saw Acker's skyscraper. Wyatt got out of the car then went to the other side to open the door for Alex.

"Thank you" She said then slowly brushed her fingers against his hand. His mouth went dry and he quickly licked his lips. They walked into the skyscraper and was greeted by the receptionist.

"Good morning Mr. McLean, I'll let Mr Acker know you are here you can go ahead and take the elevator to the conference room" the receptionist said and he nodded. Mr McLean walked into the elevator and Wyatt along with Alexis followed behind him. Wyatt could feel Alexis staring at him. He turned his gaze towards her and she looked away. She nervously began fiddling around with her things.

"Alex is everything okay, you don't look too well?" Her father asked and Wyatt observed her.

"No dad... I'm seriously fine you don't need to worry"  Alexis told him and he nodded then glanced at Wyatt.

"Just keep an eye on her, I can't let anything happen to my daughter" Mr. McLean said and Wyatt nodded then gulped.

"Dad..." Alexis whined then rolled her eyes. When they got to the top, they got out of the elevator then made their way to the conference room.

"Wyatt?" Seth asked when he saw Wyatt walking into the conference room. Wyatt stopped in his tracks then turned to face Seth.

"Hey, Seth" Wyatt chuckled "please excuse me" Wyatt said to Mr. McLean then cleared his throat.

"Are you here to finish making that deal with my dad?" Seth asked and Wyatt nodded.

"Yeah, I can't wait, this is something that we have really been working hard on" Wyatt said with a little excitement in his voice.

"Wait is that the girl you've been talking about" Seth asked when he saw Alexis staring at Wyatt.

"Yeah, that's her" Wyatt said then waved her off.

"You really brought her here are you fucking crazy?" Seth asked.

"There is nothing wrong, we aren't together anymore and Alexis is Mr. McLean's daughter. He decided to take her with him, trust me please" Wyatt begged and Seth nodded his head.
