Ben POV
I was sitting outside lost in my thoughts until I heard a familiar voice "BENJI!!" I looked over and saw Grace running towards me and suddenly *Glomp* "You sure are full of energy today." "Yep wanna hangout?" "Oh Grace what a wonderful surprise he would love to." I turned around and saw my mom "Have fun you two!!" Grace grabbed my hand and started running again"Bye bye!!!" "G can you slow down a little?" Grace stopped running and turned around "Oh sorry I'm just excited." "Where are we going?" "The park!"

Several minutes later they arrived at the park.

Still Ben POV
"Benji over here!" Grace was on the seesaw waiting for me "Coming." "Hey Benji are you ok?" "Huh u-um yeah." "You've been making the same spaced out face for a few days." "I've just been thinking" "What about?" "What do you want to be when we grow up?" "I wanna be a singer just like my parents! What about you?" "I...I like painting but my parents want me to sing..." "Did you tell them?" I shook my head "I'm sure they'll understand if you tell them." "...Maybe" "Oh here!" Grace took out a green brooch and gave it to me, "For me?" "Mhm I forgot to give it to you the other day, you seemed sad so I wanted to get you a present to cheer you up!!" "Thank you." "There's that smile, let's keep playing!!" Grace took off running "Grace wait be carefu-" she fell down and started crying, I ran over to her. "Grace are you ok?!" "I-It hurts..." I looked down at her knee and saw it bleeding "Hold on I have a bandaid" I took a bandaid out of my pocket and put it on her knee. "There all better." "Can you draw a smiley face on it?" "Mhm" I took out a marker and drew on the bandaid, "Can you stand?" I held out my hand "Yeah" she grabbed my hand and got up. "It's getting kinda late we should go." "Aww already?" "Don't worry we can play tomorrow." "Mm okay!!"

Grace and Ben started heading home stopping at Grace's house first.

Ben POV
"Bye bye Benji see you tomorrow!!" "Ah w-wait." I ran up to Grace and hugged her, "Thank you again" "No problem." After a while we let go of each other and I started walking away "See you later G!" "She waved and went inside, I should get her something.

A few minutes later Ben got back home and was greeted by his dad.

"Hey sport did you have fun?" "Y-Yeah..." "Oh you got another one." "Y-Yeah Grace gave it too me." "What a wonderful girl I'm sure you two will be very happy together."

Frank ruffled Bens hair and walked away, Ben went to his room and started painting.

Ben POV
I couldn't help but think about what dad said. "But I don't like her like that..."
