Crush Part.1

In this one shot their in highschool.

Ben was walking to school by himself because Grace was sick. He sorta liked walking alone he could be alone in his thoughts, I wonder what he's thinking about (Probably Pico, don't tell him I said that). He was then interrupted from his thoughts when someone called out to him.

"Hey softie!"
Ben turned around and saw Pico run up to him.
"Oh good morning Pico."
"It's a good morning now." Pico mumbled.
"Huh?"
"N-Nothing..." Pico turned red a little.
"Where's your friend?"
"She's sick."
"I'll hang out with you."
Ben got flustered "But don't you have that junior trip today?"
"It's on Wednesday."
"It is Wednesday."
"Oh shit...well I'll skip it."
"W-Wait you can't do that isn't it important?!"
"The principal said it was but I don't even wanna go, were just visiting a college. And I probably won't be the only one skipping."
"B-But-"
Pico stopped walking and pat Bens head reassuring him.
"It's fine B, really." Pico gave a warm smile causing Ben to blush.
"O-Ok..." Ben was still unsure about this, Pico only had a year of highschool left since it was already the end of May.

They soon got to school going their separate ways.

Ben POV
The teacher was giving a lecture about how were moving on to the next grade. I seriously don't like when they do that, it just makes me more nervous. Time went by and it was time for second period, I walked into the crowded hallway trying to go to class, until someone pulled me into the bathroom. "Hey shrimp, long time no see." I felt a lump in my throat, I turned around to see Xavier my bully. Damn it why now? I'm going to be late, "U-Um h-hey, I have to go to class." I tried to walk away but he blocked the door "I noticed you walking with that red head, he your boyfriend?" "N-No." I got embarrassed "Whatever, I need money." He held his hand out waiting "I-I don't have money." "Oh yeah let's see about that." He snatched my bookbag out of my arms and started dumping everything out "Please stop!" I tried to take it back but he put it up in the air so I couldn't reach "How about no." I got mad "GIVE IT BACK!!" I realized I yelled and covered my mouth, he dropped the bag and started walking towards me "Who the hell are you talking to?" "I-Im sorry I-I didn't mean to-" he slapped me in the face, "Well you weren't lying about having no money so later shrimpy." He left the bathroom, I put everything back in my bag and looked at the time on my phone "There's only thirty minutes of class left, should I still go?" I then thought about where Pico might be, I left the bathroom and went to the art room. I opened the door hoping he would be their but he wasn't. I walked in and closed the door, I grabbed a small canvas and some paint, thinking about what to paint. I felt my face heat up "Yeah I got it now."

Pico POV
"I wonder if he's ok." I was on the school rooftop playing games on my phone "I'll go check on him at lunchtime."

A hour past and the halls were again filled with kids going to lunch or hanging out. Ben made his way out of the art room going into the hallway.

Ben POV
I was trying to make my way outside but someone grabbed my shoulder stopping me "Yo shrimp what ya got there?" Seriously. In the hallway. "U-Um a painting..." I clenched onto the painting hoping he wouldn't grab it- crap he snatched it "Aww it's your boyfriend!!!!" He said it loudly on purpose so everyone in the hall could hear he even held it up so they could see. "Someone has a crusshhh!!!" Most people started laughing while some were just standing there, I even heard a couple of homophobic remarks. I got embarrassed, I felt like crying "Please give it back." "You know you should stop painting, this is garbage." I felt my heart stop for a minute, my parents already say it now I have to hear it in school? I snatched the painting from him and ran away crying.

Pico came downstairs five minutes later after what happened in the hallway. He heard people laughing and some even pointed at him, though he didn't care until he heard two girls talking.

"Hey did you see what happened?"
"Yeah the poor boy ran off crying."
"I thought it was funny, that blue haired boy painted the red head how hilarious is that?"
"It isn't funny, it's sweet your just a asshole."
"But kids nowadays just say it not give them a painting."
"Your such a asshole-"
"Hey."
Pico walked up to the two girls talking.
"Oh shit it's the boy from the painting!" The girl started laughing.
"I'm sorry about her, what's up?"
"I heard you guys talking about a blue haired guy, what does he look like." He had a feeling they were talking about Ben but wanted to make sure.
"He was pretty short, he had a heart shaped ahoge and looked shy."
"Wait are you his boyfriend? That's disgusting."
Pico and the kind girl both looked at her with a glare.
"Who the hell asked you bitch." Pico said pissed off.
The mean girl got mad "What's your prob-"
"Do you know where he went?" Pico interrupted.
"I think he ran in the janitors closet."
"Thanks, also you should stop being friends with her. He said to the kind girl before giving the other girl a glare. He then ran off to look for Ben.
"What a di- where are you going?"
The kind girl walked away from her taking Picos advice.

"I'm coming Softie."
