Terrifying

It's a ordinary Wednesday afternoon, everything seemed to be going well until Ray came back from school. She's 5.

Ben went into the living room.
"Welcome home sweetie- what happened to you?!" Ben went over to Ray.
"H-Hurts..." She tried to wipe her tears.
"Let's get this treated ok?" Ben picked her up.
Pico hurried out of the kitchen.
"What's wrong- what happened?!" Pico went over to them.
She looked up at Pico and buried her head in Ben's chest.
"It's ok, honey." Ben said softly.
He looked at Pico with a frown and shrugged, Pico nodded. Ben took Ray to the bathroom and sat her on the seat.
"Can you tell me what happened?" He went in the cabinet and grabbed the first aid kit.
"The b-big kid from a-across the street pushed me. R-Ray didn't do a-anything!"
Ben looked at Ray and cupped her cheeks.
"It's ok Ray, I believe you." He smiled and wiped her tears.
"Daddy does?"
"Mhm." He let go and grabbed a couple of bandaids and a wet cloth.
"This may hurt." Ben gently put the cloth on one of her scrapes making Ray jump a little.
"I'm sorry, are you ok?"
She nodded.
"Can I wipe it off?"
Ray nodded again, Ben gently wiped the blood off and put the bandaids on.
"There, all better." Ben smiled and kissed her bandaids.
"Daddy." She held her arms out.
He chuckled and hugged her.
"Want some animal crackers?"
"With strawberry milk?"
"Mhm." Ben picked Ray up and went to the kitchen.
"Are you ok?!" Neo asked.
"Who did this to you?!" B3 chimed in.
"It was one of the kids across the street." Ben said as he sat Ray in the chair.
He grabbed the milk and strawberry syrup from the fridge and poured it in the cup, Ben mixed it and got a bag of animal crackers from the cabinet.
"Here you go sweetie."
Ray smiled and ate a animal cracker.
"There's that smile." Ben pat her head.
"Where's Pico?"
"Bro went outside, he was big mad." B3 replied back.
"J-Just to stand out there?"
"I don't think so." Neo said.
"I'll be right back, watch Ray!" Ben said before going outside.
When Ben went outside he saw Pico standing on the sidewalk with his back turned.
"Hey Pico, what are you doing?" He said nervously.
"Picking out the suspects for the fucker who hurt our baby."
"But you don't know who did it."
"Oh you're right." Pico walked past Ben and went inside.
"Oh thank God." Ben sighed with relief.
Pico came back outside with Ray in his arms and stood on the sidewalk.
"Ray, can you show papa where that fucker lives?" Pico smiled at her.
"P-Pico please don't."
"That's where that fucker lives." Ray pointed to one of the houses across the street.
"Babe, please calm down!" Ben clung onto his arm.
"I'm just gonna talk to them."
"Why are you making that scary face?"
"I'm just gonna talk to them." Pico grabbed Ben's hand and crossed the street.
"W-wait!"
Pico walked over to the house and was about to push the doorbell but Ben stood in front of him.
"Pico, you gotta calm down."
"Alright." He sighed.
Ben pushed the doorbell, after a few seconds a man and woman opened the door.
"Hello, you're our neighbors from across the street right?" The woman said.
"Mhm."
"Is this you're daughter, she's so adorable."
"Thank you." Ben smiled.
"Yep she really is, you know what's not adorable? Having her come home bleeding and crying." Pico said.
"Is she ok?" The couple asked.
"Yeah, but I won't be until-"
Ben covered Pico's mouth with his hand.
"You're son pushed her." Ben said.
"I'm so sorry for our son." The man said.
"It's ok, we were hoping to get a apology."
"Oh you'll get more than that." The woman said.
"H-Huh-"
"LOGAN GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW YOUNG MAN!" The woman yelled.
Ben moved his hand from Pico's mouth and they all looked surprised.
"What is it?" Their son went to the front door.
"Holy shit, he's fucking huge! What the hell are you feeding this kid?" Pico said.
"Pico, that's not nice." Ben looked at him.
"What's not nice is the fact he pushed Ray when she's small and he's this god damn big."
"You're right, how could you hurt this little girl?" The man said.
"Bored." Their son said.
Pico looked even more pissed, the woman stared at her son then looked at Ray.
"Hey hun, would you like twenty dollars?" The woman asked.
Ray nodded.
"Logan, go get twenty dollars from your piggy bank."
"W-What no."
"You don't have a choice, go get the god damn twenty dollars!"
"Ma'am, this really isn't necessary." Ben said.
"It is, this isn't the first he picked on little kids."
Their son went upstairs and came back with twenty dollars.
"Now give it to her."
He gave the money to Ray.
"We really don't- what's that?" Ben pointed to a ball.
The man went inside and grabbed it, then went back over to the door.
"Is this your daughter's name?" The man turned the ball and showed them.
"Yeah."
He gave the ball to Ben.
"She isn't satisfied, what else you got?" Pico said.
"P-Pico, we don't need-"
"You heard him. What else do you got?" The woman said.
"M-Mom!"
The woman went inside and came back with a plushy of Bob from Minions.
"This was supposed to be for his birthday but you can have it." She gave it to Ray.
"Do you like cookies?" The man asked.
Ray nodded, he went inside and came back with some cookies.
"Here you go." He gave her the cookies.
"How about-"
"We really don't need anything." Ben spoke up.
"Logan apologize." The woman said.
"I'm sorry." He mumbled.
"She couldn't hear you." Pico said.
"I'm sorry!"
"Good, now go to your room." The woman said.
He went back upstairs.
"We're so sorry again, have a good day."
"It's ok and you too." Ben replied back.

The couple closed the door, they crossed the street and went back inside.

"So how did it go?" Neo asked.
"Ray got her ball back, twenty dollars and some cookies. So it went well." Pico said.
Ben flopped on the couch.
"You ok man?" B3 asked.
"I just wanted him to apologize...."
"Pico Pie really is terrifying." B3 pat Ben's back.
