The bright sun shone on an abandoned church and a singular boy and a peculiar creature came upon it. The boy had dark brown skin with a dread hawk, a black Kevlar vest, cargo black shorts, and combat boots. On his shoulder sat a small anthropomorphic creature that took the form of a brown and black bunny.
"Is this the place Sakisa?" the creature asked.
Sakisa Dadisa analyzed the small church, it was square and the roof was mostly gone, the door hung on its hinges, and the young man noticed footprints on its wooden floors.
"They're mostly here, Flopper." Sakisa said, walking into the dusty room.
The Inside of the church held several dozen pews covered in leaves, dirty needles, abandoned clothes, and condoms. The altar was dirty with brown stains covering its once sacred floors. The sun rays poured through the large hole in the roof and Sakisa stood where the sun shone most and took another sweep of his surroundings.
Flopper's ears pricked up, "I hear them below."
Sakisa smirked, "Who needs Black Shonen when you got us?"
"What would Juliet say?" Flopper asked with a mischievous smile.
Sakisa blushed, "We all know she's better than that team."
Sakisa and Flopper Immediately went in search looking for the basement and found it in minutes.
"Do you hear them Flopper?" Sakisa asked.
The small bunny creature leaped from his partner's shoulder and put his long ear to the latch, "I hear chanting."
Sakisa smiled, "We caught'em!"
Sakisa opened the latch and the two walked down the stone spiral stairway of the ruined church. The more Sakisa traveled the more he could hear the loud whispers of chants and the reflection of blazing orange fire. When the stairway ended, Sakisa and Flopper were granted the sights of several individuals dressed in red robes. The body of a dead naked woman lay on the ground with blood pooling from her neck.
"Man, you guys party hard!" Sakisa said, introducing himself to the robed men.
The men looked at the secret agent and chimera in surprise, fear, and confusion and sprinted toward them. Sakisa immediately reached in his pocket taking out two silver brass knuckles and Flopper leaped from Sakisa's shoulder and landed on the ground with his small paws up.
"You ready to kick some ass pal?" Sakisa asked Flopper.
Flopper smiled, showing his huge front teeth, "Let's go in punching and kicking!"
Sakisa started the battle with a dodge of a right hook and slammed his fist into the face of one of the robed men. Sakisa took a step back to dodge an explosion of fire expelling from one of his opponent's hands and stepped in with a quick haymaker to the gut. Flopper bounced to the left and right, dodging any magic or kicks coming from his small frame. With one leap, the small bunny's furry foot bashed into one of the robed men. To the man, the small bunny chimera had the power of ten grown men as he crashed into several of his companions.
In minutes Sakisa and Flopper stood side by side as several dozen robed men lay at their feet, covered in bruises. Sakisa walked up to the altar the men had made and stared at the book.
"It was a grimoire to summon demons." Sakisa sighed, "It would have torn this town into two."
Sakisa closed the book, "Let's g- "
The boy suddenly felt his body be lifted and thrown. Sakisa crashed onto the ground with Flopper jumping in front of him, "You alright, it appeared out of nowhere!"
Sakisa looked up to see a small five-foot demon flapping above him, with wings of leather, and a mouth of rotten sharp teeth. The leathery creature let out several laughs before diving for the boy. However, the demon didn't expect Flopper to gain a jumping roundhouse into its jaw, sending the monster tumbling into its man-made alter.
"Thanks, pal," Sakisa said, "You're always saving my ass."
Flopper smoothed back his ears with his small furry hands, "It's kinda my job."
"You think we should take him down with a fusion?" Sakisa asked as the demon began to get up from the debris.
Flopper shook his head, "Waste of our time."
Sakisa nodded, "Yeah, your right."
Sakisa sprinted toward the waking demon and Flopper leaped by several feet. A hard right punch bashed into the demon's jaw; a strong kick bashed into its stomach. An uppercut swerved into its chin and a two-roundhouse kick combo smacked into its face. The demon hit the wall, causing cracks to spread through the architecture.
The small demon made several groveling noises before disappearing into a cloud of black smoke. Sakisa went back to the book and began scanning it, "Here, if the demon transfigures into black smoke it has returned to its original dimension, the demon will not reappear until summoned again." Sakisa closed the book and picked it up, "I'm sure the Society will want this."
Flopper hopped on his partner's shoulder, "Yeah, your prolly right, let's go home!"
"You think Delilah will be impressed?" The boy agent asked.
"Don't ask for too much." Flopper teased.
