I went to college in New York and I immediately fell in love with the city so when I made the decision to leave LA where I was trying to build an acting career I knew their was only one place I wanted to live. I do have to fly back and forth to LA alot but I'm not too far from home and my sister isn't too far either as she's in college in Pennsylvania so I often drive down to see her or pick her up so she can spend the weekend in the city with me or vice versa. Tonight we are celebrating her starting her final year of college and also her new internship so we've been spent our day shopping before getting ready for dinner followed by some drinks "To my favourite sibling which I'll always deny when asked by the others who's almost free from the restraints of academia and who's just gotten an amazing dream internship with a top art gallery and who will from now on pick all my art for my house. To Briar" I say and we cheers "I always knew I was the favourite. Don't look now but there's a guy checking you out" she says "Okay decent looking I assume otherwise you wouldn't of bothered telling me" I say "He's got a kinda casual preppy vibe but definitely cute" she says "Okay I'm gonna go say hi then" I say "He's the one in the green shirt end of bar near the door" she says.

I make my way over and he is rather cute but I need to know more about a person before I make any final judgements "Hi I'm Sage" I say "I thought I recognised you. You play a very good zombie slayer" he says "I'm not nearly as badass as Alice is but I'll take the compliment" I say "You should. I'm Sam" he says and we shake hands just as the last person I expected to meet in one of my favourite New York bars walks in and we make eye contact for a moment "Excuse me a minute. I need to use the restroom" I say and turn around and grab Briar on my way "What the hell" she says as I basically drag her into the bathroom with me "Andrew Garfield just walked in and we made eye contact do you think he's seen the interview" I say "Even if he has you are a confident woman who doesn't need to be embrassed for admitting she finds someone attractive who many other women and probably men find attractive so your gonna go back out there and if you wanna talk to him or he talks to you so be it" she says "Right. I sometimes think you should of been born before me because your alot wiser than me in times of crisis" I say "I know now let's go you were talking to a cute guy before Andrew walked in afterall" she says.

We make our way out of the bathroom and she goes back to our table whilst I head back towards Sam but I'm intercepted by Andrew surprisingly "Hi there your Sage Hughes right" he says "And your Andrew Garfield" I say "So we both know who the other is. I wear really tight spandex and you slay zombies which is definitely much cooler  I'd love to fight zombies" he says "You've seen Alice in Zombieland" I say "Of course" he says "I've had people come up to me who've seen the movie and it's been surreal but never another actor" I say "The first time you get complimented by someone you've admired is incredibly weird and you doubt it's even happened after it's happened but it's the best feeling" he says "I just have to say this and I probably shouldn't because we're actually having a nice normal conversation and I may make it incredibly awkward by admitting this to you but I'm gonna do it anyway because why live life with regrets and should of beens. I did an interview recently where I was asked my favourite actor and I said you whilst also admitting to having a bit of a crush on you never thinking that I would actually meet you so there you go" I say "I have seen the interview some people sent it to me and I liked the whole thing and didn't find it weird that you admitted to having a crush on me because I was already a fan of yours anyway. I do find it strange though that we met in a bar when you said you don't like partying" he says "Its not partying it's just drinks with my sister celebrating  so it's a celebration" I say "So you celebrate instead of partying" he says "Yes we're a family of celebrators if that's even a word" I say "Don't think it is" he says "Anyway I should probably go back to my sister" I say "What are you celebrating?" he asks "She is starting her final year of college and she got her dream internship at a art gallery " I say "Tell her congrats from me. Are all your family creatively gifted or just you two" he says "My mom is a English professor who is the daughter of a playwright and a dancer and she married a chef who is the son of a singer and a former circus trapeze artist. They then had six kids alot I know  my oldest brother is an architect, I'm an actress, my sister loves art, my brother wants to be a writer, his twin my sister wants to be a fashion designer and my youngest brother who's ten currently wants to either be a astronaut or a stunt man but we'll see how that goes he happens to be incredibly afraid of heights so he should probably rethink that career path but he's also musically gifted like our grandfather so maybe he'll try that instead" I say "Quite the family" he says "Yep we're like the highly dysfunctional VonTraps" I say "I only have one brother and always wanted more" he says "Never ask for more siblings I asked for one for Christmas and ended up with four" I say  "It was nice meeting you and I'm gonna let you get back to your sister. I hope we run into each other again some time" he says "Same" I say and go back to Briar "You just had a full blown conversation with Andrew Garfield" she says "I did. I mean I kept my cool and was only embrassing once but I was totally fangirling on the inside speaking to him but he said he liked my work" I say "I think he likes you but just like Peter Parker he's too shy to admit it" she says "No way he was just being friendly" I say "If you say so" she says.
