"Sorry, was I interrupting something then?"

CHARLES HAS LEARNED TO KEEP his distance. He thought it was for the best. Andie was his teammate, his colleague, and most of all, his competition. If he views her as anything more than those, he knew it will only complicate things—by a fucking lot.
That explains the growing apathy between the two which Andie is still very confused about. Since the beginning, she's known that there will always be some type of rivalrous pressure being teammates with Charles Leclerc but never did she actually think that it would go so far as to feel alienated from him. What was more confusing for her understand was that within the first month of getting to know each other, they were doing fine. Sure, they bickered, butted heads, and got fed up with each other from time to time but she thought they had this friendship building up between them.
Now, it just felt like Charles saw her as a threat that needed to be threatened back.
They spent the next few weeks going back and forth again. Whether it were training sessions, simulator sessions, or media sessions; the more artificial their bond felt like... but not everyone caught onto that. The team hasn't been able to take notice of this yet because it was something that went by unnoticed except to Charles and Andie.
As time passed, they've established invisible and unnecessary boundaries. Being stubborn is what many people would like to call it but to them, it was being professional.
And "professional" they were.

"This dress is a bit overkill, don't you think?" Andie looked at herself in the mirror, turning to see the view of the sleeveless black Giorgio Armani dress she was wearing at all angles.
Laurie clicked her tongue in protest, "No. You'll be attending your first F1 gala tonight so might as well rock it."
The dress was specially tailored for Andie as it had a small Ferrari logo patch along the bust level. It was tricky to move in but no one could deny it being stylish.
"But I don't think having to sit through a five-hour flight with this tight dress on is exactly rocking it..." Andie replied as fear and anxiety crept up to her mind, "But I do look good though. At least there's that."
Laurie gave her a thumbs up, encouraging only positive thoughts. Out of all the Ferrari staff, she was probably the only one who caught of a whiff of the brewing rift between Charles and Andie. She knew no specifics but she had a gut feeling that something was going on.
That said, Laurie just knew that Andie wasn't nervous about having to sit in a tight black dress in a private jet for five hours... Rather, she was worried about who she was going to spend that five hours with; Charles Leclerc.
