The rest of the passed in a blur and before I knew it I was in my driveway dead tired. Detention had been uneventful. There were three other kids there with me but everyone minded their own business and I was able to finish the essay as well as my homework. I was really proud of myself.

"I am home." I said once I had entered the house.

"Hey. How was detention?" Mom came out of the kitchen wearing an apron.

"Uneventful. I got my work done." I murmured.

"Great. I'll set the table. You must be hungry."

"No mom. Thanks. But I guess I'll just take a nap first. I am tired."

"Okay."

And just as I was about to start up the stairs she said, "Damon called. He says he is sorry."

"Tell him to go to hell." I grumbled.

"Excuse me?" My mom's voice sounded shocked and I knew she was upset with my cursing so I rephrased my sentence.

"Tell him I don't want to talk to him. Now I really want to sleep, mom."

"Okay." She walked back into the kitchen shaking her head in a disapproving way as I made my way to my bedroom. Once inside I threw my bag on the chair and flopped onto the bed. I was so tired that I didn't even feel like removing my shoes let alone change for that matter.

My last thought before I dozed off was, 'Should I give Damon another chance?'

I woke up to complete darkness. Guess I had slept through the evening. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. When I looked at the clock I was surprised. It was 20.30 p.m. I had slept through most of the night too. Now I wouldn't get any sleep in the night.

I walked down the stairs to grab something to eat, I was starving. I hadn't eaten anything since lunch.

When I reached the living room I heard my mom talking to somebody at the door, "She is still asleep. I'll tell her you stopped by, dear."

"Who is it mom?" Who was my mom calling dear?

"Oh she is up and about. Come on in." She opened the door and I saw Sean standing at the entrance in his classic look. Dark jeans, plain tee, a leather jacket and his dishevelled hair. He looked like he was a runway model.

"Hey." He whispered once he had reached me and mom had gone in.

"Hey." I whispered back.

"How you feeling now?"

"Much better. Just a little hungry." And as soon as I had said that my stomach rumbled as if to prove my point.

He laughed and put his arm around my shoulder saying, "Let's get that fixed."

Once all of us had had dinner we went back to my room but not before my mom warned me saying, "Keep the door unlocked, Aria." Though she wanted to play the mom role with that sentence she ruined the affect  by winking at the end. I just blushed and headed upstairs before it could get any more embarrassing.

"So.." Sean said as he sat at the edge of my bed.

"So?" I sat in front of him on my study chair.

"Nothing." He replied with a grin and I couldn't help but smile along with him.

"What are you doing here, Sean?"

"You aren't happy to see me?" He scrunched up his eyebrows and looked like a lost puppy when he said that and I laughed.
