"We are going to miss you so much." Yukino and Sorano tightly hugged Rae with each of them cried on one of her shoulders respectively. It was hard to leave Sabertooth when they had done so many things for her, Rae was forever grateful for that. She couldn't imagine if she ended up in evil's hands. She will miss them, especially the girls. She's going to miss those loud and noisy bickers. Rae inhaled the sweet smell of Minerva's perfume—Minerva, she had became a part of her life now, despite being told she was once her enemy. And to think that she had to face the whole Fairy Tail alone now, Rae was nervous.
Stroking Rae's face gently with her fingers, Minerva smiled, squeezing her hand with another hand. "You know, you are welcomed here anytime. And trust me, they are your family." Rae looked away, silently staring at Natsu playing around with Haruka and Bella. The little girl was hanging on his arm as the Fire Dragon Slayer lifted her with ease, meanwhile the others were handling Erza's luggage, placing all of those stuff on another carriage. It didn't change anything. Even though, Minerva told her, they were her family, Rae can't simply accept them yet.
"Mama, Lisanna-chan is going to be really happy! Mira-chan too! Oh, Levy-chan!" Haruka rambled, spilling some unfamiliar names. She was currently sitting on her lap, said, it had been along time since she was spoiled by her mother and unable to refuse, Rae only smiled and did whatever the little girl wanted. Her pink hair was soothing to play with as Rae ran her hand softly on her head, eventually Rae felt a heavier weight on her. Her silver eyes looked down and it seemed like Haruka had fallen asleep. Yet, that kid never once loosened her hold around her mother.
Bella giggled. "Look at her acting like a baby although she's big now." The bat flew to Haruka and curled herself like a ball to snuggle into her. It was uncomfortable for Rae to sit like that since Haruka was sitting between her legs with her head rested in the crook of Rae's neck. Her hands wrapped around her tightly. But, it's the least she can do as her mother. Mother, she's a mother now. It felt strange. She can't get used to it yet. Having a family and being loved by people around her, once again, Rae kept repeating the sentence. It was for the Rae King.
Shuffling sound was heard beside her. It was Lucy. Having a sheepish smile on her beautiful face, she asked her older sister if she can put her head on her shoulder. Lucy Heartfilia, her little sister. Rae didn't know what was their sisterhood like before but ever since she met Lucy, the Celestial Spirit Mage wanted nothing but to always be close to her. It's amusing to see her adore to be spoiled by her sister but Rae was sure she can't give Lucy everything. Especially, a sister's affection. A sincere one. All she could feed her was lies.
"I still don't believe myself that I'm holding your hand, nee-san." Lucy mumbled and Rae looked down, staring blankly at the way Lucy played with her hand, she's counting her fingers one by one then held out her hand to look at the size difference. "I still remember the day I first joined Fairy Tail. You just came home and I was so flustered."
