"Jellal!"
The blue haired guy turned around to look at Laxus shouting his name while carrying unconscious Rae in his arms. "Rae! What happened?!" Tears pricked his eyes, her condition was bad, really bad. Jellal put a finger to feel her heartbeat and it was indeed slow. She was barely breathing. They needed to get her treated quick. Even Laxus was in a bad condition. Laxus told him that he had no idea what happened earlier, the first thing he knew when he woke up, he found Rae beat up like that.
Jellal held her face. "Who could have done this to her? Even I was knocked out earlier. What in the world is happening?"
"I remember monsters coming out of nowhere, but they all up and vanished." Just as Laxus finished talking, there was some king of creature appearing behind them and it didn't look nice.
The creature strangely had a figure of a man. "I'm the God Seed Gears. I get rid any of gears Aldoron doesn't need."
"Take care of Rae." Jellal hardened his stare and Laxus nodded.
He took Rae somewhere safe, away from Jellal and the enemy as he had to find someone to tend Rae's injuries. Can he even call those injuries anymore? Her arms were broken, she was bleeding all over her body. Laxus needed to find something to stop the bleeding. But he can't just leave her alone there. However, seemed like the universe favored him as his eyes caught a flying bat ahead. Looked like she was alone. "Bella!" Laxus took Rae to a tree and laid her had on his thigh. "Hang on, Rae, please, I need to know who did this to you."
"Laxus, Rae!"
The man felt his heart dropped when he noticed her hands. "Bella-can you heal her?"
The bat hiccuped between her cries. "Rae, what happened to you? How did this happen to you?" She cut her palm and dropped a few blood into her mouth however, it wasn't working. Something seemed to be blocking her healing process. "No, is this because of her inability to use her power temporarily? Laxus, I can't heal her." Bella tried again to feed her the blood but it was futile. They needed Wendy to help her. Her tiny hand desperately squeezed her flesh for more blood until the point of Laxus hearing the bone cracking.
"Bella! You don't have to do that!"
"But, Rae! She's not healing!"
Laxus stopped her from harming herself more. "We will find Wendy together. We will ask her to heal Rae."
Bella doubted Wendy could help them since the situation was worse than she thought. Wendy must have been using her magic power non-stop now, but it never hurt to try. Bella nodded and Laxus put his hands under Rae to pick her up carefully but then, a person wearing a cloak suddenly appeared in front of them. They can't exactly see her face, it was blurry for certain reasons, but Laxus couldn't deny the familiar scent. It resembled Rae's. Even their figure was similar to Rae.
