Juliet's POV

It's been a day since Biff brought us the case file. Since then, Frank has called up his dad's old partner, Sam, and invited him over for breakfast so they can talk.

Knowing that neither Frank nor Joe can cook, and Trudy's going to be at work - I decided to make breakfast for them.

I ran to Wilt's so that I could grab stuff to make breakfast.

"Hey, Wilt. Hey, Frank." I greeted them.

"Juliet, dearie! How are you?" Wilt asked me while Frank just smiled and waved.

"I'm good, I'm shopping for lunch. There is hardly anything in Trudy's fridge." I chuckled.

"That's because Joe lives with us." Frank shouted from behind the counter, making us laugh.

Wilt gestured me aside, behind one of the shelves so it was out of earshot.

"What's up, Wilt?" I asked.

"Are you really okay?" He asked me.

"I'm getting there. I've got lots of people who love me, including you." I told him, reassuring him.

"Okay, because if you need anything, and I mean anything, you give me a call, okay?" He offered.

"Thanks, Wilt." I said, hugging him.

"So, you're still at Trudy's with the boys?" He asked me.

"Yeah. I tried going home the other day but it's still a little too small. I'm going to try again at the end of the week." I told him.

"Okay, hun. I wish you the best." He told me, grabbing my head and kissing it making me laugh. This guy was my grandpa in another life, I swear.

I looked around, seeing what all Wilt had, eventually deciding to make a breakfast casserole for everyone. I grabbed everything and then went to the counter to check out.

"What's this for?" Frank asked me.

"I'm making breakfast for you all, figured it was the right thing since Sam is coming." I said.

"Good idea. I get off in an hour or so, do you want some help?" He offered, scanning the items and bagging them.

"I don't think so, maybe when you get back I'll have something you can help with." I told him. I paid for the food and then grabbed the bags.

"See you later, Frankie." I teased before heading back to the house.

-----

I had just pulled the casserole out of the oven when Frank came in.

"Hey, how's breakfast coming?" Frank asked me.

"Is that all I am to you? A kitchen woman?" I teased, pretending to be offended.

"Ha ha." He said with a smirk. I chuckled at him and then looked back to the food on the counter.

"I just finished the casserole right before you came in." I said. I took off the apron I had borrowed and went up to the sink to wash my hands.

"How was work?" I asked him, turning on the water.

"It was pretty short since I only worked for a few hours, how has your day been?" He asked me.

"It's been okay. Talked with my parents on the phone earlier." I shrugged.

"How are they?" He asked.

"I think they're enjoying having the house all to themselves and don't want me to come back." I laughed, still scrubbing my hands.

"Well then, looks like you'll just have move in. Dad can sleep on the couch." Frank teased causing me to laugh.
