*Flashback - 16 Hours Before the Massacre*

"Just a few more days until we're free." Mom said, a bright smile on her face.

She looked down at her 7 year old daughter, excitement in her eyes. "Aren't you happy, honey?"

Waverly shook her head. "I don't want to leave.."

Her mother chuckled then picked up the small girl and placed her into her lap.

"Theres no reason for us to stay." She began. "This new territory has everything we need."

"Like blueberries?" Waverly asked, her eyes glowing blue.

Mom snickered. "Yes, honey. Lots of blueberries.."

Just then, the door to the cabin swung open and her father ran inside.

Her mother quickly placed Waverly back on the bed and hurried after him, back outside.

An explosion startled the young werewolf, she jumped and buried herself under the covers.

"Mom!" She screamed, terrified.

No answer.

Waverly hesitantly peered out from underneath the covers and slid out of bed.

"Mommy?"

She made her way towards the door.

Two figures raced over to the cabin but didn't come inside.

Waverly gazed through the window.

Two men were standing there.

She couldn't see their faces, but something about one of them seemed oddly familiar..

"How many?" The first man questioned.

"Too many.. we need more firepower." The other said.

"Lets go!" They both yelled, gesturing something before rushing off.

A group ran past.

One of them stopped, glancing through one of the windows.

Waverly ducked, hoping they wouldn't notice her.

"Hey, I think there's-"

Suddenly, there was a loud roar than the dreadful sound of flesh tearing.

The door slammed open.

"No!" The young werewolf screamed, covering her face with her hands.

"Honey.." A familiar voice said.

She looked up and saw her parents standing in the doorway, her father was drenched in a red liquid.

It dripped from his fangs onto his shirt.

"Mommy!" Waverly exclaimed, leaping into her mother's arms.
