Chapter 35

After what happened in his condo, we kinda talked about the little things before I left to go back to my condo. I finally admitted my feelings for him, but I haven't told him the exact words— those three words.

As I told him, I'm not yet ready to be in a relationship. It's okay with him, he never pressured me even before. I really don't know how I became so damn in love with the man I met in senior highschool.

We're currently in our late twenties and our hearts are still looking for each other.

We're both patient to come this far. If I didn't accept my residency here, I wonder what would be our first encounter after a long time.

Civil lang muna kami ngayon. We admitted that our feelings were still the same but I could say that the love was stronger. May residency kami pareho starting this Monday. Akala ko this week pa pero may sinend na email sa akin yung hospital tungkol sa mga kailangan kong malaman.

It's Thursday, Lucas and I both wanted to go out. He wanted to help me do my groceries and some furniture I needed.

"Ang mahal naman," pagrereklamo ko nang makita ang presyo ng tv na tiningnan namin.

Siya na rin nagsabi na bumili raw muna kami ng furnitures dahil baka magtagal lang yung mga groceries sa kotse, kaya ihuli na raw namin.

Tinawanan niya 'ko, "Well, your condo is just next to mine. Mangapit bahay ka na lang." pang-aasar niya kaya tiningnan ko agad siya ng masama.

"Ganyan ka rin ba sa iba mong kapitbahay? Sobrang bait mo naman." pinanliitan ko siya ng mata.

"Of course not!" he instantly denied.

I gave him a suspecting look, "Oh, talaga ba? Eh, yung nasa front desk nga kung makatingin sayo parang walang bukas!"

He burst into laughter, then he placed his arm around my shoulder, "Don't worry, my love. I only have my eyes on you." he whispered to my ear.

I scoffed, "As you should," I rolled my eyes.

He rolled his eyes, "But really, you don't have to. Besides, you said that you won't be permanently living here naman." he mentioned.

"Yeah, I guess. Pero alangan araw araw akong nangi-istorbo doon makikinood parang tanga lang, beside I have one day off in a week, and then the rest mga 10? Or 11 na ang uwi ko. I think the same goes to you."

He chuckled, leaving a mischievous smile on his face. "Well, just live with me. I'm down to that." he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

"Ayoko nga," I sneered.

Pinag-isipan ko pa kung bibili ako ng tv pero tama naman kasi siya, hindi naman talaga ako dito titira habang buhay, sayang lang rin yung mga gamit.
