A couple of hours pass, the pair still laying in the bed, enjoying each other's company. As they lay there talking, Chase's phone begins to ring.
"Hello?" Chase picks up after the third ring.
"Hi daddy," Myah on the other end.
"Hey baby girl, how are you?" switching it to speakerphone.
"Where are you?" she asks.
"I'm with Deagan. I came to check on her," putting his phone on his chest.
"Deagan? Daddy, is she your girlfriend?" Myah asks, her and Taylor giggling.
"Yes, she is."
"Guess where grandma is taking us tomorrow?"
"Where are you going?" Chase asks, kissing Deagan's forehead.
"She's taking us to the zoo!"
"That's great honey."
"Daddy when are you coming home?"
"I'll be home in a few days honey."
"Okay, I wuv you."
"Okay honey, I love you too. I'll talk to you tomorrow."
Hanging up the phone, Chase sets it down, Deagan passed out next to him. He lays there, so many thoughts running through his mind as Deagan sleeps beside him. Chase is loving the way his future is looking at that moment. And he couldn't be any happier.
