"Falcon?"
"Yeah?"
"Rumlow's headed for the Council." Maria warns him.
"On it."
Tessa finally lifted herself from off of the floor and seen Jungkook was slowly approaching her. Her eyes did a once-over, his doing the same, making sure the other was okay - he wasn't in the best condition, neither was herself, but they still had all limbs so nothing fatal.
"One minute," Maria announced to the team.
Tessa and Jungkook stood there, feeling helpless, as the Helicarrier they were on ascended in to the air. In one minute, millions of innocent people wouid die under the merciless weapons of Hydra, unless they succeeded with their plan. They had done their job... it all rested on Steve now.
"Thirty seconds, cap!" Maria cried.
"I'm in." Steve said, "Charlie locked." He panted, out of breath - The Winter Soldier no doubt made his job less easy.
Jungkook and Tessa nearly fell to the floor, when they felt the Helicarrier take a sharp turn and its weapons system being deployed. They looked at one another, wide-eyes, as they realised if they didn't get off this Helicarrier now, they'd fall victim to one of the other two Helicarriers attacks - now that the targets were the three Helicarriers, instead of millions of people.
"We gotta get outta here!" Tessa shouts and Jungkook doesn't need to be told twice.
He shifts again into a bird, relying heavily on their wings and ability to fly as he takes a hold of Tessa and flies away from the Helicarrier, leaving Steve and Bucky behind.
Once safely on the ground, Jungkook choosing to place them down near the rivers bank, he turns himself back into human form. Frightened, himself and Tessa look back to see that Steve showed no signs of leaving any time soon.
