"Have you thought about any tattoos yet?" Colby asked coming over towards me. We were hanging out since I just got off of work.

"Yeah, I think so." I tell him as we go into my room. I instantly go to my bed as he thinks about it.

"What were you planning on getting?" He asked sitting on the other end of my bed.

I pull my phone out so I can show him. "The dark mark from Harry Potter." I flip my phone over so he could see it.

He takes my phone in his hands so he could see it better. "That's honestly dope. Why did you choose it?" He asked curiously.

He gave my phone back which made me smile. "When I was little those were my favorite books and I really liked Draco." I admit.

He looks at me surprisingly. "You like Draco over Sirius?" He asked surprised. I nodded my head while sitting up.

"Draco was always my favorite. Yeah, he was a dick, but I liked him." I shrugged. He thinks about it for a minute and then looks at me.

"So I guess it's true that girls like bad boys." I laugh a little while shaking my head. As we sat there and talked, I heard a scream.

I knew it was Evan but I wasn't surprised even though Colby jumped. "What the fuck?" Colby asked laughing.

"It's this thing Wesley and Evan do. Whenever they get aggravated, they just scream for a minute." I laugh.

It's a normal thing in this house. I heard footsteps and then Evan came in here. "I think you shook the house." I tease him.

He rolls his eyes as he comes in. He had his dab pen in his hand. "You coming to get your tattoo today?" Evan asked as I sigh.

I nodded my head. I'm going to get it either way so why not now. "Okay, I'm about to leave, I'll be there until midnight." He explains.

He rubs his eyes so I guess they're dry. "I'll text you before heading over there." He nods his head and leaves.

"That's like the quietest I've ever heard him." Colby laughed. I nodded my head in agreement.

We talked and hung out for a few hours, but around six we left. I had no idea how long this was going to take.

But I'm thankful Colby's here. "Are you nervous at all?" He asked as I nodded. I was holding onto the steering wheel pretty tightly.

My knuckles were pretty white. "I'm actually very nervous." I glance over towards him. He was looking at me shockingly.

"You're telling me that you can explore abandoned buildings but you're nervous about a tattoo?" It did sound crazy though.

I couldn't help but laugh a little bit. "That's different." I tell him honestly. I could see him move his shoulder a little.

"It's not bad at all, it's just a needle jabbing into your skin a hundred thousand times." I drop my jaw as I laugh.

I playfully hit him causing him to laugh a little bit. God, I love making him laugh. It's like music to my ears.

"Well, thanks a lot you ass." I just shake my head while he mocks the way I say ass.

I pull up to the tattoo parlor and we go in. It looked like Evan was finishing up his client.

The receptionist knows who I am and that I'm friends with Evan so she didn't bother asking me anything.

Evan's client went to pay so he came over towards me. "I'm glad to see you both." He smiled.

He loved working here. Even though he smokes a lot, it doesn't affect his drawling at all.

"What did you want to get?" He asked looking at me. "The Dark Mark." I tell him honestly.

I knew he was about to get into a rant about it. "You know, I hate the people who talk about obscure facts about the movie."

Colby looks at him confused. "What?" Colby asked Evan. I just sat there in silence.

"Like people who are like 'I know Professor Quarrels favorite scarf' like I don't care." He complained.

"To me that doesn't advance the story to me. That's not what Harry Potter was to me." We were both laughing at him.

"I've seen each movie twenty times and I'm sorry that I don't know Dumbledore's cats name from when he was four."

That's something else Evan does when he smokes. He goes into these rants about random shit. But it's hilarious.

"To me, that shit is fucking stupid. But I can tell you who killed Harry's parents." We were both snickering.

"Who killed his parents? I've never seen it." Evan looked at him shock even though I knew Colby was messing with him.

He looked at Colby and then looked at me. "I don't think I can be friends with him anymore, J." He joked.

Evan just shook his head while going over to his spot. He was going draw up a couples stencils for me.

"Are you sure you wanna get tattooed by him?" He whispered in my ear. It sent shivers down my spine.

I look over towards him. "I trust him." A few minutes later, Evan came back with three different sizes.

I chose the medium size so he said he was ready for me. Colby and I followed him as I laid on the chair.

Colby sat next to me while Evan put the stencil on my arm. "There you go. It looks good." He smiles when he pealed it off.

I just roll my eyes as he grabs everything he needs. He had his gloves on so he won't get any ink on his hands.

"How long is this going to take?" I ask Evan, getting a little nervous.

"Well, it'll take me about four to six hours to get the outline done." He explained. We're going to be here awhile.

He tells me how he'll do the outline, let it heal for a couple weeks and then he'll do the shading.

Since it's more complex, he want's to give it time. He starts the tattoo needle and looks at me.

"You ready, Jordan?" He asked. I looked over at Colby to see he was nodding towards me.

He was mentally telling me it was okay. I still reach over so I could grab onto his hand.

He takes my hand into his and lace our fingers together.

"Just squeeze whenever you feel like it." He reminded me. I nodded as Evan brought the needle to my arm.

It wasn't that bad at all. I thought it was going to drag on. But they both made sure to keep it entertaining.

Four and a half hours later, he got the outlining down. "That's gonna look sick when it's done." Evan smiles.

I look down at it and I'll have to agree, it's going to be dope. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going to.

He wrapped it up for me and made sure to tell me to keep it clean. I make sure to pay, even though he told me it was on the house.

When we walk out, I look over at Colby. "How's your hand?" I ask looking over at Colby.

He shrugged while looking over at it. "I don't think it's broken, just numb." He teased.

I lightly push him while we walk. "Hey, is it cool if I stay the night, it's kinda late." My heart pounded in my chest.

I looked at him with a smile on my face while I started the car. He had a hopeful look on his face.

"Of course."
