Everyone continued to party as I made my way upstairs with Camilo and we exchanged gifts.
" I got this for you since I know how much you adore your family. " Camilo said handing me a locket with ( your initial ) carved into it and I clicked it open to reveal a family photo. " Camilo.. this is amazing. I can't thank you enough. " I said as tears welded in my eyes.
I picked up his gift that was wrapped with gold paper as his eyes widened. " A guitar? " He asked as I flipped it over. He grazed his fingers over gold carvings on each family member names on the back. " Mi tesoro. " He hugged the guitar.
We both were so happy for our presents. I helped Camilo tune his guitar as he braided my hair.
" This was definitely a weird Christmas but I'm so glad I was able to spend it with you Milo. " He placed his arms around my waist as he took the guitar from my hands and placed it on his side of the bed.
" Let's spend the night together. " He whispered as I nodded and peacefully dozed off.
