"Urgh. I feel like someone just ran over me with a truck." I said as I flopped down onto the nearest available soft surface. It happened to he Hyunjin's bed, but I was always more comfortable here than I was in my own. Sleeping next to him relieved me of my night terrors so my bed was more for show, than for use.
"Don't get blood on my bed." He instructed as he tried to shoo me off of his bed spread. I simply rolled over and pulled a face at him.
"Don't get blood on my bed." I mocked in a high pitched voice. He kicked my leg softly and I sat up. He sunk down next to me and took my chin in his large hand.
"Are you hurt? Your mouth is bright red." He said quietly as his eyes travelled over my cut up face. I saw my chance, and I wasn't going to let it slip away.
"Spend a lot of time staring into my mouth do you Jin?" He scoffed and I saw a rosy pink colour pinch at his cheeks as he averted his gaze away from my face.
"Shut the fuck up Lix." He murmured. I grinned and stuck my tongue out at him. It was sore now, and I was cursing the little shit who had made me bite it so damn hard.
"Ith id bad?" I asked as I went cross eyed and tried to examine the damage. He burst into laughter at my goofy expression. I grinned at him.
"Where did you guys learn to fight like that? Jisung is a secret little ninja." He said as he began dabbing at my cuts softly with cotton buds and rubbing alcohol. I smiled fondly at the memories of my brother and I.
"Well, as you know, Jisung and I aren't exactly..."
"Manly? Tall? Intimidating?" He offered up as he continued to work on my face carefully. Two of his fingers rested softly against my chin so he could move my head around easily.
"Fuck off Jin." He smirked and rubbed at my cut slightly harder. I winced as the pain stung my cheek and glared at him in annoyance.
"Sorry Lix, that blood was a little stubborn." He winked at me and I rolled my eyes as I allowed him to continue.
"As I was saying, we're a little, I dunno soft looking I guess?" I wrinkled my nose up as the smell of alcohol drifted into it. "We both used to get bullied a lot. Jisung always got it worse. He's so baby faced." I mumbled. Jin nodded in agreement.
"Dad hated seeing us upset, so he sent us to martial arts classes. I mean, we've been in a lot of fights over the years and we both developed our own style. Jisung is actually terrifying when he gets started. If Hyunwoo had taken him one on one..." I shuddered slightly. As much as I teased Jisung and I knew I was the better fighter, that boy had the stamina of a work horse.
"Ah I see. So you guys probably would have been fine without us." He wiggled his eyebrows, and I smirked at him.
"You ruined our fun." Jin burst into laughter again and shook his head. We could hear Minsung arguing down the hall and I frowned slightly, as I heard insults being hurled back and forth between them.
"They'll be alright Lix. Min will give into him. He's so into Jisung. I've never seen him this whipped before." Hyunjin said with a reassuring smile.
"I dunno. He was pretty whipped for me!" I joked. "He can't get enough of the Lee siblings clearly!" Hyunjin's face dropped and suddenly he was dabbing much harder at my face. Though this time it wasn't a joke. He was actually irritated.
"There." He threw the cotton ball away and stood. Where had this sudden bad mood come from?
"Are you mad?" I asked quietly. Hyunjin never got angry with me. He pretended to, but he never actually did. It was like a little game. I would wind him up until he got mildly ticked off and then I would do something goofy and he would forgive me.
