Chapter Thirty Seven: Being Us

I sat in my usual spot around the table and rested my heel on the seat of the bench, so I could rest my arm comfortably on my leg as I picked at the kimchi Mom had made. His body pressed to my side, and his finger slipped through the belt loop on my pants. He tugged me closer to him so he could hold me. My cheeks were burning as eyes fell over us, but I couldn't help smiling at my boyfriend.

"Aw, look at them being all cute." Jeongin said, with the massive smile plastered on his face as he began eating like he had been deprived of food for weeks. He was squeezed in between Chris and Seungmin and he looked so tiny next to them both.

"Jisung is blushing!" Chris said as his long finger poked and prodded at my cheeks gently. It caused my embarrassment to deepen, and I allowed my bangs to flop in front of my eyes to hide. I couldn't help my smile spreading wider as Min's fingers slid just under my shirt, so he could caress my skin softly.

My mind was focused on our mission. Mr Lee was away on business, we had the key and tonight we were going into the study. School was the calm before the storm we were opening up.

"Here's the other happy couple!" Seungmin shouted as Lix and Hyunjin approached. They both sat down and Hyunjin pulled Lix into his lap protectively. His arms were tight around Lix's waist and his chin rested on his shoulder as he whispered unintelligible remarks into Lix's ear. Lix's smile was back and he was joking and laughing again, like the last few weeks hadn't happened.

I began carefully feeding Minho, and ignoring them taking pictures of us. I knew he hadn't been eating properly and I needed to make sure he ate when I could get him to.

"Yah! Ji!" He protested. His cheeks were full and he resembled a cute hamster "I'll choke if you put anymore in." He stated as he chewed.

"You're pretty used to choking because of Jisung aren't you Min?" Felix said with a smirk on his face as he pressed his cheek against Hyunjin's cheek cutely.

"I've heard he's quite fond of choking on Jisung-ah." Hyunjin said sharing the dame smirk as Felix.

"At least we don't scream the house down every time we fuck." I retorted quickly, waving my chopsticks at them.

"Or get a boner just because we look at each other." Min chimed in. Everyone around us seemed to be getting more and more traumatised with every sexual secret we spilled but this was normal for the four of us.

"It's not my fault Hyunjin is so sexy." Lix grabbed his cheeks and squeezed them in his hand. "Tell me you'd be able to resist this face." He said as he moved Hyunjin's head around to look at everyone.

"Yah! Lix have you got a boner?!" Changbin asked looking horrified with gimbap half hanging out of his mouth.

"Yes he has." Hyunjin said through his squashed cheeks. He winked at Changbin and I burst into laughter. Felix grinned, and pulled his shirt down to cover himself.

"I'm done." Jeongin shook his head and placed his chopsticks down on his half empty bowl. "No more food."

"Yah, don't act like you and Chan don't do these things behind closed doors!" Minho said as he wagged his finger disapprovingly. Jeongin flushed red and Chris' mouth dropped open.

"I told you that in confidence!" He said horrified that he had been called out.

"Don't look so innocent Jeongin, you told me last week that you wanted to dick Chris down every time you saw him." Hyunjin stated casually. Everyone burst into laughter again and it felt good just to act my age for once. Being around this group of dorks always made me grateful for any small moment of happiness we got in this dark world.
