Ashter is seen talking to Derek as they walk with one another, seemingly catching up and learning about one another's stories. It wasn't much, as the two knew their stories due to the past year with being with one another, but it was nice to have a recap once and a while.
"Your mom? Oh, right. She was a partner of mine back when me and Garte were still in the early phases of our companies. I TRIED to get her a high ranking position but she rather has a calmer and peaceful life with Dan." Derek says as Ashter nods.
"I heard she didn't take offerings for jobs so logically." Ashter sighs, turning back to face forward as he shares his disbelief,
"If I knew there were no strings attached I think I would've had a nicer time working for someone." Ashter opens a wound he didn't know was there as Derek awkwardly laughs,
"Haha... Yeah... Me and my crazy wife weren't the... Kindest we thought we were. Honestly, if Aaron and you didn't knock some sense into us we would've probably been separating you... And Lucinda..." Derek soon clears his throat, changing the subject,
"A-Anyways. Did Aaron head off to his therapy session? I heard it was his last day." Derek asks as Ashter turns to him, look at Derek straight in the eye,
"If he never went. I'd make him leave." Ashter sternly says as Derek realizes the protective nature of his son. He nervous chuckles, as Ashter had a more stern and protective adoptive mother, giving light to this personality he holds.
Derek could never do that now.
Not after all the things he caused...
Ashter was a mere shadow of his abusive ways. But in better care, molded into a figure fit to be a dad.
That's when... Derek asks,
"Say... Son." Derek wonders as Ashter peeks at him, ignorant of the question he'll have to ask,
"Hm?" Ashter wonders as the two stopped, thanks to Derek doing so,
"Are..." Derek says, a bit nervous to ask, before saying,
"You and your girlfriend... Planning on having..." Derek says as Ashter was wondering what he meant...
"Any... Babies... Someday?" Derek asks as Ashter's eyes turn to dots in the midst of confusion,
"H... Huh?" Ashter was in a state of confusion and shock, that his brain is still processing what Derek just said.
"Uh... Babies. Ashter. Do you and Lucinda plan on having kids?" Derek says as Ashter immediately yells,
"WE HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN TOGETHER FOR TWO YEARS!" Ashter barks in anger and disbelief at how Derek didn't realize the difference between him and Aaron.
Unlike Ashter, Aaron and Aphmau had developed and thought since HIGH SCHOOL. Despite not being together for those many years, they knew what they wanted and slowly dug into these desires like abandoned treasure.
"W-Well? Are you or are you not?" Derek frankly wanted to know as Ashter growls, his aura fuming but in reality, it wasn't there,
"Derek... I swear to Irene...!" Ashter growls as Derek nervously laughs, calming him down,
"I-It was just a question! Calm down, son!" Derek nervously chuckles as Ashter growls, turning away,
"W-When are we going to get to meet Aaron's instructor? So we can get this over with?" Ashter wonders as Derek looks out, realizing,
"It's just over there," Derek says, as he calls,
"Hey! Aaron! What's the rush?" Derek says as Ashter turns to see...
