Jay: "Yo! Did you guys catch the game last night? 18 seconds into overtime, Kane scores the backhander. Guy's on fire this season" he chuckles, looking up to see the looks on Erin and Olinsky's faces "What's with you two?"
Voight: "Halstead." he calls out, motioning Jay into his office
Jay: "Commander."
Commander: "Halstead. Have a seat."
Jay: "I'll stand." he nods, looking between the pair
Commander: "All right, after shift last night, where were you?"
Jay: "Home. Why?"
Commander: "So you're telling us you didn't go out at all last night?"
Jay: "I'm telling you that I watched the Hawks game and I was in bed by midnight."
Commander: "This was taken last night near Broadview and Cicero. The car's registered to Lonnie Rodiger. And that's you...two cars behind."
Jay: "Okay, so I happened to be driving home behind a pedophile."
Commander: "Well, your alleged pedophile was found dead this morning, Lafollette Park."
Jay: "What?" he breathes, looking at him with shocked eyes
Voight: "Someone tied a cord around his neck."
Commander: "So I hope you have a better alibi than watching a hockey game...alone."
Voight: "Until this is straightened out, you're officially stripped." he informs, holding his hand out for Jay's gun and badge
Commander: "So expect a call from Internal Affairs. They're going to want to interview you as soon as possible."
Jay: "You mean an interrogation."
Commander: "You know how this works, son." he shrugs as Jay storms out the room, grabbing his jacket from his desk
Erin: "Jay."
Jay: "I'm the one who tried to stop that freak. Now I'm the target."
Erin: "I know. Take this. It's the number for Dan Hanes. He's the best police union rep there is. You call him. And then you tell me how you want to handle this."
Jay: "This is unbelievable." he scoffs, shaking his head as he walks out the room

Jay: "Hey, Jin, I need the Rodiger homicide file."
Jin: "As a suspect in his murder, that's highly unauthorized."
Jay: "Come on, man!"
Jin: "We're done! Voight said if I help you one more time, I'm back to manning traffic patterns for streets and san." he slams the door in Jay's face

Walking through the parking lot, Jay moves over to where Genevieve, Madeline, Joseph, and Antonio are heading in his direction
Jay: "I just got suspended." he informs the group as everyone but Genevieve continues forward
Antonio: "You're shocked?"
Jay: "This wasn't me."
Antonio: "I got to clock in. Go get yourself a lawyer right now and keep your mouth shut." he warns, heading inside the building as Madeline looks over at Genevieve
Genevieve: "I'll meet you inside." she nods
Jay: "I didn't do this" he urges "I was pissed and angry sure but I wouldn't kill the little freak." he scoffs as she exhales, nodding after a moment
