Standing in front of the bathroom mirror brushing her teeth, Genevieve perks up when hearing the sound of a loud thud. Spitting the toothpaste out of her mouth she moves into the living room, wincing as she takes in Jay who manuvers his way around stacks of boxes

Jay: "Ah, Gen." he sighs

Genevieve: "Sorry, sorry." she hums, stepping forward to move the boxes out of the way

Jay: "For someone who claims they only brought the necessities...you sure do have a lot of necessities."
Genevieve: "Well that was before my house was sold."

Jay: "Isn't that what you wanted?"

Genevieve: "Yes" she huffs, folding her arms over her chest as Jay raises a brow "No? I don't know" she sighs, stomping her feet, making him chuckle "I think the reality is finally setting in. And to be honest I didn't think anybody would actually ever buy the place."

Jay: "Why not? It's an old style home that just got finished with major renovations. It's basically like a gold mine. Not to mention the price you listed it for."

Genevieve: "Yeah but I also made sure to include the fact that the house potentially still has hidden cameras in the walls and that a murder took place not even a few months ago."

Jay: "Ah. So you tried to sabotage yourself."

Genevieve: "Maybe just a little" she shrugs, pinching her fingers together "It's just...I've always had that house to go back to. Wasn't always blissfullness but it was home. And now..." she sighs as Jay steps forward, wrapping his arms around her shoulder

Jay: "Just remember the reason you're selling it in the first place. Alex Simmons." he hums, watching a look come over her face

Genevieve: "Yep, yeah, now I remember" she hums, making him chuckle, moving to place his arms around her waist as she places hers around his neck "I'll start looking for an apartment. Turn your living room back into a living room."

Jay: "Well, now I didn't say I wanted you to leave. You know maybe instead of an apartment you look into a storage unit." he shrugs, making her chuckle as they look into each other's eye, slowly pushing forward to press their lips together, beginning to deepen the kiss the two are broken apart when hearing the sound of a phone ringing

Genevieve: "Hank." she hums with a sigh, holding up her phone to show his name

Jay: "Of course."

Voight: "All right, here's the deal. Commander's nephew's caught up with some bad police out in Jackson Park. This is Sergeant Dave Roland and his Narcotics Unit. Over the past year, they've been ripping off drug dealers in their jurisdiction. Until last week when they crossed into our backyard and robbed a stash house for 200k."

Antonio: "I got a buddy from high school Used to work out that way as a sheriff's deputy. He said the motto on the side of the Jackson Park patrol car should read, "To Steal and Neglect."

Erin: "Sorry. Traffic" she hums, entering the room as she clears her throat, pulling the shades off her face "Sir." she nods to Perry as Madeline looks at her with a look of concern on her face

Voight: "Sergeant Roland used to be CPD. Some of you may recognize his name. His father was Deputy Chief. He had his son placed in Narcotics straight outta the academy. Everybody knew he was bad news back then. Got jammed up, excessive force charges. Look, before he could get stripped, his old man had him shipped out to Jackson Park to save his career."

Perry: "Carter. He's been a patrol officer out there the past two years. Nothin' but high marks. About six months ago, he got assigned to Roland's Narcotics unit. Thought it'd be a career changer for him."
