Around two in the morning, I had set up my plan of escape as well as destroyed the USB drive that contained the information. I touched my heart shaped necklace and smirked because I had made a better way of finding her without people knowing.

Silently, I opened the door that led to the balcony and glanced around. My nostrils flared a bit while I tried to find a scent, trying to make sure that no one was close to me. When I didn't sense anyone, I closed the balcony door before making it to the railing. Thankfully, I've had experience with jumping and being thrown over the railing of a balcony that I knew how to make sure that I wouldn't get hurt.

I glanced around, making sure that no one was out there before backing up to the closed door. I took a deep breath before I took a running start and jumped over the railing, feeling adrenaline spike. The wind blew through my hair, causing me to laugh softly. Landing on my feet, I started to run in the direction that I knew Amelia Grace was in.

After running sometime, I sensed that someone was following me and trying to make it so that I wouldn't notice. I huffed and started to pick up my speed a little before starting to zigzag around the area, still going in the direction that I was heading.

Finally, after what felt like ages, I made a quick right before moving around the a and jumping on the person. I had surprised the person, causing the person to tumble beneath me.

"Oof, Rylan," the figure groaned, confirming my suspicion that it was a male. He moved underneath me, and I stared into the blue eyes of Liam. "I like it that you find me attractive, but could we do this somewhere else?" he asked, smirking.

I grimaced and shoved his head back in the dirt, knowing what he was thinking. "Oh my Goddess," I retorted, getting up. "Are all boys so egotistical that they have to think with their second brain?"

Liam started laughing and stood. After a while, he frowned and looked at me. "What are you doing out of bed? I thought you were tired."

"I didn't say I was tired," I replied. "I just said that I needed some alone time." I shrugged. "And, I wanted to look around everywhere."

"In the dark and by yourself? There are still the problem of Rogues."

I shrugged, again. "Why not now?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "'Sides, this little red is not afraid of the big bad Wolf. Also, why are you doing up?"

"Patrolling," Liam said. "Come on, let's get you back to the pack house."

"I can't..." I started to panic a little. I couldn't tell him that I needed to go to see Amelia Grace. Pack members weren't allowed because it could change the destiny of someone. I knew that could be thrown into a prison and tortured if I was caught, so that was why I didn't want anyone else to come with me. Me going there should probably help me know who or what I am.

"Then let me come with you," Liam said.

I shook my head. "I can't do that either. I have to go alone." I could sense Vulcan close by and that was why I had placed emphasis on the alone part.

"You are about to cross our border. Don't you know where you'll be next?"

"Neutral area," I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "If I keep going for about thirty minutes, then I'll be reaching a different pack. They are the ones that other packs don't like." I growled softly, knowing that they had killed Liam's mother.

"They try to attack members from other packs as well. Since you are the Beta-"

"And a Dud that uses silver knives, I think I can handle myself." I shrugged. "So, please don't try to follow me."

"I'm going and that is final." He used his Alpha tone on me, which surprisingly didn't work.

I sighed and bowed my head, hating the fact that I was going to have to make him unconscious. "Fine," I said, making him think that I would give in. I started to walk forward and couldn't help but smirk when I felt Liam hesitate before following me.

"You aren't planning something, are you?"

"How can I? You are my Alpha and used your Alpha tone on me." I couldn't help but let a bit of bitterness appear in my tone.

Liam sighed, and I could tell that he was feeling guilty. "I'm sorry," he said. "Can you forgive me?"

"If you can forgive me," I said. Without waiting an answer or anything, I moved to the left before swinging my right fist. I knew that he would move to my left, so I had also sent my left fist at the last possible minute, hitting him across the temple.

Before his head could hit the ground, I caught it and gently set him down. "I'm sorry, but I have to go alone. I don't want you to get hurt." I stood and looked to see that Vulcan was standing at a base of a tree. "You're not going to let me go there alone, aren't you?"

Vulcan shook his head, causing me to huff.

"Fine, just keep up." With that, I started to run in the direction that I needed to go.
