Everyone arrived to the after party before us. That was the way it was always meant to be. We had rented out a beautiful restaurant. Lira and I first headed to the hotel room she stayed at to change. She didn't let me help her change because she knew we would be late to the party.

So when she reappeared from the room, dressed now in a small sparkly white dress, with thin straps across her shoulders and a deep neckline, I was transfixed. This dress was more her. It hugged her curves, with no arms. Fuck she was beautiful. I remained in my suit and now I felt like I should have changed.

She smiled at me almost shyly before grabbing my hand and leading me out of the hotel. When she slipped into the car, once again taking the passenger seat, she brushed back her hair which was in loose waves now. "I like this dress better." I commented aloud as I drove off. She hummed. "Why? Because it's short?"

I smiled, looking ahead. Taking a hand off the steering wheel, I gently found Lira's leg and slowly ran my hand up her exposed thigh. "What are you doing? Huh?" She chuckled before laying her hand on top of mine, stopping it. "I'm just touching my wife...I don't think I'll tire of ever saying that." I smiled and grabbed the steering wheel again, taking a turn.

"Me too. Because you're my husband. It's so weird isn't?" She smiled, leaning her arm on the window. "God I just want the party over with so I know where you taking me for our honeymoon. But at the same time I don't want to miss Raphael's speech." She grinned, I could see her from my side view.

"He hasn't told me a single thing about his speech. I'm a little worried so just disregard anything he'll say." I grinned now parking up at the restaurant. "Oh no I won't. I'll use it against you." She half sang before getting out of the car before I could open her door.

"Oh don't look so grumpy husband." She chuckled before interlacing her fingers with mine and pulling me to the door. The restaurant was also decked out in red roses and elegant decorations. There were hundreds of rose gold foil helium filled balloons and a decorated mirror with the words 'Welcome to Vicenzo's and Lira's wedding celebration'.

I watched Lira stare in awe at everything, her eyes lighting up when we walked into the main room of the restaurant. Everyone inside mingled about, talking, laughing and drinking champagne. They all sort of stopped when they saw us enter and grinned. There was not a face that wasn't smiling.

We soon were seated at the table at the far end. It was lavishly decorated with roses and candles. To my side, sat Raf and Asim. To Lira's side, sat Sadina and Esad. Everyone else was on their own tables enjoying the food and drink. Music was playing but you couldn't hear it amongst all the chatter.

Lira had already scolded Raf on being an ass about not wearing a navy suit to which he started to mock her making her roll her eyes. She was chatting to her friends while I talked to Raf trying to figure out what his speech was about.
